ANNOUNCEMENTS – 25^th , 26^th,  & 27^th  DECEMBER 2009 

 

1.   Saturday 26^th and Sunday, the 27^th of December is the Feast of the Holy Family. There will be a blessing of the families after the mass. 

 

 2.   The Feast of the Holy Innocents falls on Monday 28^th December, there will be a blessing of Infants after  the 6:00pm  mass in the Multipurpose Hall.

 

 3.  Our Parish Calendars for 2010 are available for sale in the Religious Gift Corner, in the Church    Compound and at the Parish Office. Please make sure you have this Calendar in your homes as    the Liturgical Services, daily scripture readings during the year and other information is mentioned in it.

 4.  Wedding Anniversary Mass, for December celebrants will be held on 29^th December, at 7.00 pm in the Mother Church. Celebrants may register their name at the Parish Office.

 5.  Thursday 31st December is the last day of the year 2009. Before we enter the New Year 2010, we invite all our parishioners and various Parish Groups to attend the Holy Hour of Adoration at  11.00 PM in the MPH followed by a Solemn Concelebrated Thanksgiving Mass at 12:00    midnight  to thank God for the year 2009 and to ask blessings and graces for the year 2010. Please make time for these Services before you go for other celebrations. We will require flowers to decorate the Altar. All those who are able to donate flowers, are kindly requested to bring them on 30th December. 

 6.   The “Annual Christmas Dinner Dance” will be held on Friday, 1^st January 2010, from 8:30pm onwards in the Bishop Tirinanzi Auditorium. Live music for the evening will be provided by the band ‘Aryan Fame’.  Invitation cards are available in the church compound and Parish     Office. Entry to the programme is restricted to “Parishioners only”. Please patronise.

 7.  The Family Day 2010 will be held at the Church grounds on 5^th February 2010 with the theme ‘MAKE YOUR FAMILY A SANCTUARY FOR PRIESTS’. Parishioners please extend      your     support and co-operation to make this day a success. For further information please           contact the        co-ordinators whose names are displayed on the Parish Notice Board.

FRIDAY MORNING MASS ONLY

          A special annual Parish event of “Home away from Home” will be organized today  in the Bishop Tirinanzi Auditorium for the domestic workers of our Parish. There will be a Eucharistic celebration, gifts, music, fun and snacks. This event is free and for parishioners only.

 Timings:   Morning session       :    9:00am to 12:00 Noon

                              Afternoon session     :    1:00 pm to 4:00pm      

 

      Contributions like cakes, snacks, gifts or cash are welcome towards this event from the prayer groups and parishioners. Food contributions may be delivered on the same day to the Bishop Tirinanzi Auditorium, while the gift items can be handed over to the Parish Office.
