A CONFIRMATION JOURNEY -1

A CONFIRMATION JOURNEY -1I

For the students of Stds.9,10,11 and 12th the following theme will be delt.Growing in Wisdom, Age and Grace, parent teen relationship, Jesus the way, the truth , the model of our life, etc.

The title of this course is taken from the Gospel of St. Luke 2:52. And Jesus increased in wisdom, in stature, and in favor with God and with people.  This passage follows the story of Jesus in the temple at the age of twelve that refers to Jesus’ adolescence.

The goal of this course is to nurture in young people a deeper understanding of the relationships that affect each of us.  It also addresses the need for self-identity. It  gives the young people a chance to reflect on some of their achievements and develop their interpersonal skills.

Our purpose in life is to give glory to the God who created us. To accomplish this the young people need to strive toward being fully human, which means constantly growing  in their relationships with other people, with the world and with God. This is a lifelong task.
