RETRO DANCE PARTY!!!

 

The “Retro Dance Party” is the perfect way to fellowship with our brothers and sisters who have traveled from their respective countries to be in Bahrain for the 10th year of our annual CFC Middle East Conference (MEC). There’ll be soft, lounge music for those who just want to sit back and relax, as well as entertaining dance music for those who would rather move and groove their travel blues away! And what’s more, it’s a real “blast from the past” as we reminisce the music of the yesteryears and the memories they bring back.

 

DYNAMICS:

 

  1. WHAT: The “Retro Dance Party” is the entertainment night scheduled on the first night of the CFC Disciples Weekend. This is open to all registered delegates to the weekend conference.

 

  1. ATTIRE: The program is specifically designed for the “couple”; as a bonding moment between husband and wife, and with other couples as well. To make things more fun and exciting, we encourage participants to come in their best “famous couple throughout history” outfit or any Retro outfit.

 

  1. ENTERTAINMENT: On this night, the conference venue will virtually become a “time machine” that will bring back the popular dance tunes and nostalgic songs of the past. Dance the night away with Decades music from the rockin’ 60’s to the electrifying music of the 80’s, as our live band plays them. And sing your heart out with the timeless tunes of the classics. Entertainment will be provided by various groups from participating CFC countries.

 

  1. CREATIVES: To make this night more special, during the dance sessions, we will be flashing onscreen your memorable and Picture-Perfect Moments with your spouse. In line with this, we would like to request you to email to us MEC10RetroParty@cfcbahrain.com your most treasured digital pictures with your spouse (i.e. first date, engagement, wedding, anniversary, etc.). You can send as many as 20 select and special shots, although we might not be able to show them all.  Please label your digital photos with your names, as well as the occasion and specially the year they were taken, so we can flash them in appropriate decade segments of the show. Deadline for sending your photos is on September 25, 2008, Thursday, to give enough time for our editors to work on them.
