OFFICIAL VISITS OF DIGNITARIES

· The late Archbishop His Beatitude Benedict Mar Gregorios was the first Indian Catholic Bishop to visit the Sacred Heart Parish in 1988.

· His Beatitude Cardinal Varkey Vithayathil, the Head of the Syro-Malabar Catholic Church made an official visit in 2005.

· Bishop Youhannon Mar Crysostum, from the Marthandom Diocese of Kerala, was in Bahrain in 2005 to conduct the Holy Week Services for the Syro-Malankara parishioners of the Malayalam Community.

· In April 2005, Bishop Gregory Karottambrel (CMI), made an official visit as Chairman of the Commission for Evangelization and Immigrants.

· Archbishop His Beatitude Mar Baselios Cleemis, the Head of the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church in India, was on an official visit to the Sacred Heart Parish in November 2007.
