Urdu Catholic Prayer Group

The Urdo Catholic Prayer Group was formed on 16^th February, 1996. The group started with ten members. Room 10 of the Parish Community Centre (PCC) was given to us by our then Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Felicio Diniz. His Lordship Rev. Bishop Bernard Germoli on his pastoral visit to Bahrain blessed us and the room so that weekly prayer meetings can be conducted in this room.

During the Lenten Season, the Station of the Cross is conducted every Friday at 3:00 pm in the Mother Church.

We have been praying and requesting for a long time for an Urdu Mass to be conducted in our parish. Our prayers were answered in February 2006, when our Spiritual Director Rev. Fr. Raphy informed that our Rev. Fr. Thomas Quadros our Parish Priest has granted permission for an Urdu Mass.

The first Thanks Giving Urdu Mass was offered in the Multi-Purpose Hall at 3:30 p.m. by our Spiritual Director Rev. Fr. Raphy on 24^th February, 2006.

URDU MASS IS OFFERED AT 3:30 p.m. LAST FRIDAY OF EVERY MONTH

We therefore request all our fellow parishioners, brothers and sisters to come and join us in prayer and worship, Urdu/Hindi language every Friday at 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Room No. 10 and experience the goodness of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our Prayer meeting always starts with the recitation of the Holy Rosary.
