REV. FR. ANTHONY D’MELLO, OFM, CAP.

Born on 13^th March 1966 in Bahrain was baptized by Rev. Fr. Eugene Mattioli in the Mother Church.

Hailing from Pilerne, Goa, he joined the Capuchin Seminary of St. Fidelis Friary, Farangipet and

was vested on 14^th May, 1997 thereby making his Temporary profession on 15^th May, 1998

and Perpetual profession on 20^th May 2001 and finally being ordained a priest on 12^th May, 2003,

his motto being: “Lord make me an instrument of Peace.”

After his ordination until now he was stationed at Monte de Guirim, Goa as a Procurator and

Treasurer for Capuchin Province in Goa, besides being a Preacher all over Goa until his posting

as Assistant Priest in our parish since December 2011.
