Rev. Fr. Joy Menachery, the Assistant Parish Priest and the Spiritual Director for Malayalam Community arrived in Bahrain on 15th June 2007.

Fr. Joy, born on March 1^st 1975 at Elinjipra in Kerala, joined the Capuchin order at the young age of 15. He made his simple profession on 15^th May 1995 and perpetual profession on the same day 6 years later. He was ordained a Priest on 23^rd November 2002, after 13 years in Seminary.

With Philosophy and Theology courses to his credit, he briefly served in the parish of Gandipuram, Coimbatore before being appointed as director of Sinai Renewal Center Palakad in 2003. 18^th July 2004 saw him at St. Mary's Church in Dubai, where he served for 3 years.

His strength in accomplishing his mission of building the Body of Christ is easily seen, albeit in his slight stature!
