Synopsis
Raised to Life
“You have been raised to life with Christ” (Col 3:1)
are the thrilling words of St. Paul which generate in us the power of risen life.
To
rise, one must die! In fact, dying and living with Christ is a living
experience of every Christian!
We were buried with Jesus through baptism into death in order that,
just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too
live a new life. Romans 6: 3
New Life!
Being set free from the ruling spirits of the universe, we no longer belong to
this world, but our journey is aimed at Eternal Home, to live with our Risen
Lord! Eternal Life is already
begun as we, the Church Militant, walk on the path of holiness towards our
Eternal Home of perfect Love and Justice!
“Raised to Life” invites us to live our life as Easter People!
Are my eyes fixed on
the things of the Risen Life?
For where
your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Luke 12: 34

Catechism of the Catholic Church
1227 According to the Apostle Paul, the believer enters
through Baptism into communion with Christ's death, is buried with him, and
rises with him:
Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were
baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with him by baptism into
death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father,
we too might walk in newness of life.[29]
The baptized have "put on Christ."[30] Through the Holy Spirit,
Baptism is a bath that purifies, justifies, and
sanctifies.[31]
1228 Hence Baptism is a bath of water in
which the "imperishable seed" of the Word of God produces its
life-giving effect.[32]

263. What are the effects of
Baptism?
Baptism takes away original sin, all personal sins and all punishment due to
sin. It makes the baptized person a participant in the divine life of the
Trinity through sanctifying grace, the grace of justification which
incorporates one into Christ and into his Church. It gives one a share in the
priesthood of Christ and provides the basis for communion with all Christians.
It bestows the theological virtues and the gifts of the Holy Spirit. A baptized
person belongs forever to Christ. He is marked with the indelible seal of
Christ (character).

Dear St. Paul,
“You proclaim that we have been raised to
Life with Christ”...
Indeed it
is a very thrilling and thought provoking message. Please explain
it to us.

Daddy
St. Paul,
you have taught us we were buried with Jesus in our baptism and shared in his
death.

Mother
You have given us hope that by sharing his death, we too were raised from
death by the glorious power of the Father.
St. Paul
My loving children!
Baptism is birth into the new life in Christ. That is why, I wrote: “You
are raised to new life”.
Father
God, our Father, has rescued us from our old sinful self
and has set us free from the darkness of our old self. He has led us into the
light of life, to the Kingdom of His dear Son. This is our New Life!

St. Paul,
the most passionate missionary, tell us how do we
live this New Life?
St. Paul
My dearest Children!
Living a new life means to give up the old life! Set your hearts on things
that are in heaven; Fix your minds on heavenly things and not on things here
on earth.
Mother
It means we fix our eyes on Jesus, our Redeemer! Isn’t it St. Paul?
St. Paul
Christ First in me! It must be your goal of life!
Daddy
St. Paul, God constantly
strengthens our faith in our new life in Jesus through Mother Church.
Celebration of our Holy Eucharist, Sacraments, Holy Scripture, our Family
Prayer. Yet, we tend to live in our old self! Why?
Child
I love Jesus and want to please Him. I try, yet I get
easily distracted in the Holy Mass. How can I build and experience my
personal relationship with Him?
St. Paul
You are already sharing the divine life of the Trinity
through the sanctifying grace of Jesus, thus, you are one into Christ and
into his Church. You share His Royal Priesthood and thus you commune with all
Christians. Your new life is controlled by the Holy Spirit.
Mother
It means every baptized person belongs forever to Christ
and marked with the permanent seal of Christ!
St. Paul
You must live with the strong hope that
You will live with him eternally.
Whatever you do, do it for the Lord. He will reward you.
Do not live for the values of the world.
Child
It means I study, play and live for Jesus.
Am I right St.
Paul?
Father

It means I must constantly strive to overcome my old
nature, my old self!

St. Paul

You must imitate our Master and our Lord!

“Life with Jesus”, my Son, is possible only when you
celebrate the Holy Eucharist and live the Eucharistic life of selfless

Loving Children!
Remember this! The celebration
of the Holy Eucharist is the source and summit of your life. It is through an
ordained Priest, my Son continues to offer himself for the whole mankind.
When you celebrate this banquet of love, "Your way of thinking is attuned to the
Eucharist, and the Eucharist in turn confirms your way of thinking”
It is around the altar, you get your strength to live this new
life – for my Son is the source of Eternal Life!
Mother Mary

Thank him for his selfless
love for you! His hands are always open to embrace you!

Song:
Come to the table of plenty
The Lord has prepared for you
and me
Furnished with finest food and
wine
For this is the meal divine,
the meal divine.
Come dressed in cloaks of pearly white
And let your face with joy shine bright
For the Lord will fill to your hearts content
As on you His Spirit descents.
Come taste the goodness of the Lord
The gift of salvation He has brought
Through the life and death of His only Son
And the victory He has won.
Open your heart and you will know
Mercy and love that ever flow
For His grace is greater than our sins
Filling us with peace deep within.
