The First Friday Parish Holy Hour will be held on 6th January at 3.45 pm in the Sacred Heart Church.
The Feast of Our Lady of Arabia, Patroness of our Vicariate, will be celebrated on Friday 13th, Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th January.
Novenas in preparation for the feast will commence from 4th January after the evening masses.
The First Holy Communion for Sacred Heart School children will be held on 21st April and for the Parish Catechism Children on 28th April 2017. The Sacrament of Confirmation will be administered on 26th May 2017.
The Family Day 2017 with the theme ‘We are one in the Spirit, one in the Lord,’ with Games, Food Stalls and a variety of entertainment programmes, will be held in the church compound on Friday, 3rd February 2017 from 8am to 7pm.
There will be a cultural parade by the various communities of our parish. There will also be stage competitions, such as the Prince and Princess Contest for children up to 9 years of age, a Singing Competition for a duo or group, open to all ages and a cultural troop dancing competition which is open to all communities. Entry Forms for all three contests, with further details, are available at the parish office. The last date to submit the Entry Forms is Friday, 27th January. Late entries will not be accepted.
Parishioners, we appeal to your generosity in helping towards the maintenance of your church by bringing in advertisements, gifts and food items for the family day which will help us meet our objectives.
The second batch of the personalized Desk Calendars is now ready for collection.

ANNOUNCEMENT FOR FRIDAY ONLY
Tomorrow is the last day of the year 2016. There will be a Thanksgiving Holy Hour at 6.30 pm followed by a Solemn Mass at 7.30 pm in the Sacred Heart Church. All Parishioners are welcome to participate in these services.
For mass timings on New Year’s Day, kindly refer to the parish notice board, church website or the family day flyer which is being distributed.
Flowers to decorate the Altar in Manama for the New Year services may be brought to the Sacristy tomorrow by 12 noon.
