ANNOUNCEMENTS - 11th, 12th & 13th May 2018

  1. May 14th Monday, is the Ordination Day of Fr. Gaspar.  Let us pray for his intentions.
  2. Due to the Rosary at the grotto before the evening mass, the novena in preparation for the feast of Pentecost will be conducted after the evening mass. For the timings you may refer to the notice board.

    On 16th May, the novena to our Lady of Perpetual Succor will be held after the 5.30 pm and 7.00 pm mass.
  3. The annual Night Vigil of the Pentecost in English will be held on Thursday 24 May 2018 from 08 pm onwards. All Parishioners are invited to participate and be blessed with the Power of the Holy Spirit. Please refer to the parish notice board for further details.
  4. The Konkani community for a good cause is organizing a “Musical Fiesta” on Thursday, 17th May from 7.30pm onwards at Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium. Entry passes are available at the church compound with the Konkani Community coordinators and with Fr. Darrel. All are welcome.
  5. On Friday, 25th May there will be a Marriage Preparation Course in the St. Dominic Savio Hall from 7.30 am to 5.00 pm. Those interested are requested to register their names at the Parish Office and submit their Baptism Certificate along with the Application Form before 23rd May. The course fee is BD. 5/- per person, including lunch.
  6. The Christen Retreat 2018 for our Parish children, from 1st to 12th Standard, will take place from 30th June till 3rd July, and will be led by a team from Logos Retreat Centre, Bangalore. We request all parents to plan their annual vacation accordingly and fully utilize this unique opportunity for the children to attend this retreat.   The registration forms are available at the parish office, Religious gift corner and Jesus Youth help desk.
  7. The May edition of ‘Charis Arabia’ is available in the Religious Gift Shop and in the Parish Compound.  Please buy your copies.
  8. An intensive prayer campaign called ‘JERICHO PRAYER’  is being organized in our parish, in view of the current financial crisis which has resulted in loss of jobs and non-payment of salaries of many of our brothers and sisters. During the service we will also pray specially pray for our home-countries.

  9. There will be Adoration followed by Rosary-Rally in the Church compound for seven consecutive Saturdays at 7.30 pm, starting from Saturday, 19th May. We request all parishioners to join this prayer. Let us pray in unity, for the restoration of lasting peace and prosperity of our lands.  For more details, please refer to the poster outside.
