ANNOUNCEMENTS - 18th, 19th & 20th May 2018

  1. The Annual Night Vigil of the Pentecost in English will be held on Thursday, 24th May 2018 from 8 pm onwards. All Parishioners are invited to participate and be blessed by the Power of the Holy Spirit. Please refer to the parish notice board for further details.
  2. On Friday, 25th May there will be a Marriage Preparation Course in the St. Dominic Savio Hall from 7.30 am to 5.00 pm. Those who would like to attend    are requested to register their names at the Parish Office and submit their Baptism Certificate along with the Application Form before 23rd May. The course fee is BD. 5/- per person, including lunch.
  3. The annual Night Vigil of the Pentecost in Konkani will be held on Thursday, 31st May 2018 from 07.30 pm onwards at Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium. All Parishioners are welcome.
  4. The Christen Retreat 2018 for our Parish children, from 1st to 12th Standard, will take place from 30th June till 3rd July, and will be led by a team from Logos Retreat Centre, Bangalore. We request all parents to plan their annual vacation accordingly and fully utilize this unique opportunity for the children to attend this retreat.   The registration forms are available at the parish office, Religious gift corner and Jesus Youth help desk.
  5. Those children who have received their First Holy Communion and wish to join the Altar Server Ministry, kindly collect the Form from the Parish Office and submit the completed Forms before 15th June.
  6. The May edition of ‘Charis Arabia’ is available in the Religious Gift Shop and in the Parish Compound.  Please buy your copies.
  7. Our Holy Father Pope Francis is inviting all the Youth to participate in the next World Youth Day from January 22nd to January 27th 2019 at Panama. This will be a great opportunity to invigorate our Youth faith. Age limit is 16 to 35 years. For further information please contact our Parish priest Fr. Xavier or Fr. Wellington.

  8. As announced last week, in view of the current financial crisis which has resulted in loss of jobs and non-payment of salaries of many of our brothers and sisters, the intensive prayer campaign called ‘JERICHO PRAYER’  will commence on Saturday, 19th May at 7.30 pm.  We will also pray specially for our home-countries.

    It will begin with Rosary-Rally in the Church compound at 7.30 pm and conclude with Adoration, in the Sacred Heart Church.  We request all parishioners to join this prayer. Let us pray in unity, for the restoration of lasting peace and prosperity of our countries.
