On Monday, 18th October we celebrate the Feast of St Luke, the Evangelist.

World Mission Sunday will be celebrated on Friday 22nd, Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th October. For this year, the Holy Father has chosen the theme “We cannot but speak about what we have seen and heard” from Acts 4:20 and he invites us to experience the power of God’s love, and recognize his fatherly presence in our personal and community life.

Dear Parishioners, we would like to clarify that online booking is still required to attend Obligation Masses on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

All attending any mass in the church need to have the Green Shield Vaccination Certificate. Those who have Yellow Shield are to follow the guidelines of the Government and come for the mass only after receiving the booster shot and the Shield turns green. Please understand the severity go this situation and cooperate with the Security at the gate.

The Parish Lectors Ministry invites parishioners who have received the Sacrament of Confirmation to join the Lectors Ministry. Those who would like to join may give their names to the Parish Office before 17th October.

Parishioners, we are pleased to inform you that the Cathedral works is in progress and is expected to be completed soon. Lots of funds are required to complete this project and we look forward towards your goodwill and generosity. Whatever amount you desire to give will be gratefully received at the Parish Office. Our Holy Father, Pope Francis inaugurated the Synod on Sunday, 10th October. In the Vicariate of Northern and Southern Arabia, the inauguration go the diocesan phase of the synod will be held on Friday, 15th October with the inaugural mass at St Joseph’s Cathedral, Abu Dhabi, at 7:00PM local time which will be telecasted live on the Vicariate website and social channels. We are all invited to participate in this inaugural mass as we journey together on the synodal path under the themes of communion participation and mission by His Lordship Bishop Paul Hinder.
