On 14 September, Tuesday we celebrate the feast of the Exaltation of the Cross.

Parishioners we are pleased to inform you that the Cathedral works is in progress and is expected to be completed soon. Lots of funds are required to complete this project and we look towards your goodwill and generosity towards this project. Whatever amount you desire to give will be gratefully received at the parish office. May God bless you for your support towards this cathedral project.

The Parish Priest had instructed the Ushers at the main gate to check the mass booking number, vaccination certificate and body temperature of parishioners, of those who are attending all obligation masses. Also those who are attending daily masses, need to show the vaccination certificate and body temperature. This is according to Ministry guidelines. Follow their instructions and do not argue with them. Thank you for your cooperation.

The Marriage Preparation Course will be held on Friday, 24th September at 8.00am in the St. Padre Pio Social Hall. The church gate will be open for entry from 7.15 am to 7 .45 am only and will remain closed thereafter. Wearing a Mask is compulsory. Those interested are requested to visit the parish office to register your names. Kindly submit your Baptism certificate recently issued for marriage purposes along with the date of confirmation before 22nd September. The certificate is valid for 6 months from the date of issue. Registration will be on a First come first serve basis as limited seats are available. The course fee is BD. 8/- per person, inclusive of lunch and the Certificate.
