1. Last week, 317 candidates were administered the Sacrament of Confirmation by His Excellency, Bishop Paul Hinder. We thank him for his presence and dedication. May the newly confirmed continue to grow in faith and live their lives, guided by the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
2. On Saturday, 19 March we celebrate the Solemnity of St. Joseph, the spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
3. The Way of the Cross is being held on Wednesday at 6.15 pm and on Fridays at 4.15 pm in the courtyard.
4. Restriction on the number of parishioners on each pew and social distancing have been lifted. However, you are all reminded to be cautious and wear a mask at all times within the church premises.
5. Children who have received their First Holy Communion are invited to join the Altar Servers Ministry. To register your child for Servers’ Formation and Training, please fill the online form, the link which can be found on the church website. Last date for submission is 25 March.
6. Parishioners interested in joining the Eucharistic Ministry are requested to collect the Application Form from the Parish Office.
7. The Lectors Ministry invites parishioners who have received the Statement of Confirmation and are willing to proclaim the Word of God. You may submit your names at the Parish Office before 20 March.
8. We request talented musicians and singers to join any of the Choirs of the English Obligation Masses on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Kindly submit your names to the Parish Office along with your contact details and the timing of the mass you wish to serve.
9. The Parish Canteen is now open during all Obligation Masses, serving vegetarian and non-vegetarian snacks and beverages.
10. There will be a Marriage Preparation Course on Friday, 25th March in the St. Dominic Savio Hall from 7.45 am to 5.00 pm. Those taking part are requested to register their names at the Parish Office and submit their Baptism Certificate before 23rd March. The course fee is BD8 per person, inclusive of lunch and the Certificate.
