1. We welcome Fr. Ravi Rajesh Serrao, a Capuchin from the Holy Trinity Province in Mangalore, India who will be with us for a month. We wish him a pleasant stay and a fruitful ministry.
2. All the Priests and Brother will be travelling to the UAE for a meeting from 21 to 24 March. Please keep them in your prayers. The visiting priest, Fr. Ravi, will celebrate the masses in their absence.
3. There will be a Marriage Preparation Course on Friday, 25 March in the St. Dominic Savio Hall from 7.45 am to 5.00 pm. Those taking part are requested to register their names at the Parish Office and submit their Baptism Certificate before 23 March. The course fee is BD8 per person, inclusive of lunch and the Certificate.
4. The Parish Lenten Mission in English led by Rev. Fr. Francis Karthanam V.C., Director of the Divine Retreat Centre in Delhi will be held from Monday, 04 April to Thursday, 07 April. For further details, please refer to the poster displayed on the outdoor stage in the courtyard. For Missions in other languages, please refer to the Parish Notice Board.
5. First Holy Communion for Parish Children will be held on Friday, 22 April and Sacred Heart School Children on Friday, 29 April. The Sacrament of Confirmation will be administered on Friday, 06 May at the 9.00 am mass.
6. There will be an Offertory Procession every Friday before the commencement of the 5pm mass. We request parishioners to bring basic necessities like rice, milk powder, pulses, tea, coffee, oil and sugar, and join in this procession. These items will be distributed to the needy of the parish. We count on your generosity.
7. With effect from Tuesday, 22 March, we will recommence the custom of the blessing of the bread. Devotees of St. Anthony may now bring bread before the mass every Tuesday and place them in front of the statue of St. Anthony in the Main Church. After it is blessed by the priest, it will only be handled by the volunteers and distributed among the faithful.
8. Children who have received their First Holy Communion are invited to join the Altar Servers Ministry. Please fill the online form, the link which can be found on the church website. Last date for submission is 25 March.
9. Parishioners interested in joining the Eucharistic Ministry, Lectors Ministry and Choirs of the English Obligation Masses are requested to register their names at the Parish Office.
10. We request parents with infants and toddlers to please go the Babies Room to avoid distracting parishioners during the services.
