1. The Konkani Community will celebrate the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Monti Fest on Friday, 9th September at 8.15 am with the blessing of the new corn and floral offerings by children at the outdoor stage, followed by the Feast Mass in Konkani at the Sacred Heart Church. This will be followed by a short cultural programme and lunch at Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium.
2. Due to the celebration of the Feast in the main Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Friday, 9th September, the regular 9.00 am obligation Mass in English will be held at Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium.
3. Catechism Classes in English for Standard 4 to Standard 12 will commence on 16th September and Catechism Classes in English for Standard 1 to Standard 3 will commence on 23rd September.
4. The Tamil Community will celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Valankanni on Thursday, 15th September. The 9-day Novena in preparation for this Feast will begin on Tuesday, 6th September at 6.30 pm in the Sacred Heart Church. For Novena timings and venues, please refer to the poster on the outdoor stage.
5. The CFC Handmaids of the Lord will be conducting a Christian Life Programme every Friday at 1.00 pm until 28th October at Rooms 14, 15 and 16 of the St. Francis Assisi Building. Application forms are available at the Parish Office and from any CFC or Handmaids of the Lord members.
6. The El Shaddai Bahrain Chapter will hold a Catholic Life in the Spirit Seminar every Friday from 2nd September to 7th October at St. Lawrence Hall from 1.45 pm to 5.00 pm. All are welcome to attend and participate.
7. Please do not park any vehicles in front of the steel gate of the Sacred Heart Church at any time as it causes a great inconvenience in case of emergency.

Today, 2nd September, is the last day of the sale of books and payment of Registration Fees for students taking Catechism Classes in English which is being held at Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium from 8.30 am to 11.30 am. All Catechism children have to present their Progress Card and CPR No at the time of Registration. New Registrants for Standard 1 need to submit a copy of their Baptism Certificate. New Registrants for other grades have to submit a Transfer Certificate and copy of their Baptism Certificate at the time of Registration.
