1. Catechism Classes in English for Standard 1 to Standard 3 will commence on 23rd September.
2. With the commencement of the Catechism classes, the Schedule of Masses on Friday morning has been amended. With effect from this week, the English obligation masses on Fridays will be at 7.00 am, 8.45 am, 10.30 am and 5.00 pm. Other masses have not been changed. For further clarification, please refer to the Parish Notice Board.
3. A Mini Parish Night Vigil in English with the theme “The Hope of Eternal Life,” will be organized by the English Charismatic Prayer Group on Thursday, 22nd September from 7:30 pm to 12 midnight. All are invited to participate and be blessed.
4. The Filipino Community will celebrate the Feast of San Lorenzo Ruiz on Wednesday, 28th September at 7.30 pm in the Mother Church. The Triduum Mass in honour of this Feast will be held from 25th to 27th September. For timings and venues, please refer to the banner in the church compound.
5. There will be a Retreat in Malayalam led by Fr. Boby Jose Kattikad from Monday, 26th September to Thursday, 29th September from 6.30 pm to 10 pm. For further information, please refer to the poster displayed in the church compound.
6. The Wedding Anniversary Mass for September celebrants will be held on Saturday, 24th September at the 6.30 pm Mass in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. During the mass, celebrants must occupy the pews reserved. Registration along with a fee of BD.1 is required and celebrants must be present at Mass to receive the Certificate. Last date to sign up is Friday, 23rd September.
7. There will be a Marriage Preparation Course on Friday, 30th September in the St. Dominic Savio Hall from 7.45 am to 5.00 pm. Those taking part are requested to register their names at the Parish Office and submit their Baptism Certificate, recently issued for marriage purposes along with the date of confirmation before 28th September. The Certificate is valid for 6 months from the date of issue. The course fee is BD. 8/- per person, inclusive of lunch and the Certificate.
8. We are pleased to announce that the World Youth Day will be held next year in Lisbon, Portugal from 1st to 6th August 2023. We encourage all single youth, above the age of 18, who are interested in representing Bahrain as a part of AVONA participants to register their names and phone numbers at the Parish Office as early as possible. 9. Due to some maintenance being done in the main Sacred Heart Church building, all masses in the morning and evening from Monday, 19th September to Wednesday, 21st September will be held at Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium.

The students will participate in the Mass at the Sacred Heart Church at 8.45 am followed by Catechism Classes until 11.30 am. Due to this Mass, the obligation Mass in English at 8.45 am will be held at Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium.
