- The papal intention for the month of April is to pray for the spread of peace and non-violence, by decreasing the use of weapons by States and citizens.
- The First Friday Parish Holy Hour will be held on Friday, 14th April at 3.45 pm.
- This is a reminder to personally drop your Lenten Alms Envelopes in the boxes labeled “Lenten Alms” which are located at the entrance of the Sacred Heart Church and the Mother Church.
- The Feast of Divine Mercy will be celebrated on Sunday, 16th April at the 7.00 pm mass.
- First Holy Communion for Parish children will be on Friday, 14th April and for Sacred Heart School children on Friday, 21st April at 10.15 am. Due to this 10.30 am regular mass will be shifted to Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium. The Sacrament of Confirmation will be administered on Friday, 28th April.
- The Wedding Anniversary Mass for April celebrants will be held on Saturday, 29thApril at the 6.30 pm Mass in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. During the mass, celebrants must occupy the pews reserved. Registration along with a fee of BD.1 is required and celebrants must be present at Mass to receive the Certificate. Last date to sign up is Friday, 28th April.
- Jesus Youth will be hosting their Middle East Conference in Bahrain at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Arabia from 5th to 7th May, for 400 participants. They request support in the form of Foster Homes for the participants from other countries for 3 days. Please check the Parish Notice Board, Help Desk for contact details.
- There will be an Easter Dinner Dance on Thursday, 20th April in Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium. This will be a fundraising event in support for the youth of our parish who will be travelling for the World Youth Day in August. There will be exciting raffle prizes, games, dinner and dance. The entry fee is BD10 for adults and BD7 for children below 12 years of age. Kindly buy your tickets at the earliest as tickets are limited.
