Jesus Youth

Overview

Jesus Youth is an International Catholic Lay Movement Approved by the Holy See with a charismatic spirituality. It had its beginnings in Kerala (India), but now active in nearly 30 different countries around the world. Jesus Youth is an initiative of young people themselves, who, filled with the Holy Spirit try to reach out to other young people. The strength of the movement is its special focus on a life centered on the Lord Jesus Christ: beginning with an experience of God nourished by prayer, the Word of God, the sacraments and fellowship, and sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with others. The seeds of Jesus Youth movement in Bahrain were sown in the year 2002 when a few Jesus Youth came to Bahrain for their career prospects and they became very active in the ‘Youth Ministry’ of BMCC. After few years of prayer through small prayer cells, sharing, networking and fellowships the Jesus Youth life style began to spread and attracted many youths to this life style. Jesus Youth Bahrain had its official launching in Bahrain on 9th March 2009 through a program called ‘The SonRise” and became the official youth movement of the Sacred Heart Church, Bahrain. Happy feast of the Annunciation of the Lord.

Mary said YES!

Luke 1:38 I am the handmaid of the Lord, let it be done unto me according to your word.

Feast of the Annunciation marks the visit of the angel Gabriel to the Virgin Mary, during which he told her that she would be the mother of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

On this day let us pray to be accepting of God's Will for us, just like Our Blessed Mother 🙏🏻

This day is a celebration of the value and dignity of every human person, as well as a day of remembrance for those unborn children who have lost their lives to the violence of abortion.

Let us make this a world wherein pregnant women are supported, nurtured, and celebrated. Let us speak for them who cannot speak for themselves. Let us be Pro-Life.
