1. We observe the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul, Apostles on Saturday, 29th June. The Peter Pence collection for the Holy Father’s works of Charity will be done on this day.
2. The Wedding Anniversary Mass for June celebrants will be held on Saturday, 29th June at 6.30 pm. During the mass, celebrants must occupy the pews reserved. Registration along with a fee of BD.1 is required and celebrants must be present at Mass to receive the Certificate. Last date to sign up is Friday, 28th June.
3. The papal intention for the month of July is to pray for the pastoral care of the sick, especially for those who receive the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick.
4. On Thursday, 4th July Bishop Emeritus Paul Hinder celebrates the 57th Anniversary of his Priestly Ordination.  Let us pray for his good health and his personal intentions.
5. The First Friday Parish Holy Hour will be held on 5th July at 3.45 pm.
6. The Malayalam Community will celebrate the Feast of St. Thomas, the Apostle, with a Mass on Friday, 5th July at 7.00 pm in the Sacred Heart Church. In preparation for the Feast, the 9-Day Novena has commenced and is being held every day. For details, please refer to banner displayed in the courtyard.
7. The Urdu-Hindi community will be celebrating the feast of their patron St Thomas, the apostle on the 5th of July Friday. The Holy Mass will be at 3:45 in the mother church followed by a cultural programme and fellowship in the social hall.
8. The First Saturday of each month is dedicated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.  This month, the First Saturday devotion will be held on 6th July.  The Holy Rosary for world peace will be prayed at 5.40 pm in the Sacred Heart Church. Let us come together as one family to honour the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
9. The next Pre-Baptism Seminar will be on Wednesday, 10th July from 7.15 pm to 8.30 pm at the Audio Video Room.  For registration, parents and godparents are requested to visit the Parish Office. This seminar is only for parishioners and expectant mothers too may register. Please be on time and do not bring children.
10. Awakening 2024 – Kids & Teens retreat is starting tomorrow Saturday 29th June. Please pray for all our Parish children attending the retreat / Animators / Volunteers / Retreat arrangements and for the success of the retreat.
11. The Holy Door pilgrimage will be conducted at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Arabia every Monday immediately after the 7.00 pm Mass in English. Pilgrims entering through the Holy Door are eligible to receive plenary indulgences for themselves or the souls of the faithful departed.
12. The Apostolic Vicariate of Northern Arabia proudly presents the commemorative coin of St. Arethas and Our Lady of Arabia, with the blessings of His Excellency Bishop Aldo Berardi. This coin has the image of St Arethas on one side and the image of Our Lady of Arabia on the other. Priced at BD10 per piece, the income generated from selling the same will be used towards the construction of our Bishop’s House. Let us keep this coin in our homes as a souvenir and a blessing. May the intercession of Our Lady of Arabia, and St. Arethas and Companions help us all.
