1. We celebrate the Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mary on Thursday, 22nd August. 
2. The Konkani Community will celebrate the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Monti Fest on Friday, 6th September at 8.15 am with the blessing of the new corn and floral offerings by children at the outdoor stage followed by the Feast Mass in Konkani at the Sacred Heart Church.  This will be followed by a short cultural programme and lunch at Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium. 
   The 9-day Novena followed by Mass, conducted by Fr. Ivan Pinto from India will begin on Wednesday, 28th August at 7.00 pm at Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium.  For Novena timings and venues, please refer to the Notice Board.
3. The Wedding Anniversary Mass for July and August celebrants will be held on Saturday, 31st August at 6.30 pm. During the mass, celebrants must occupy the pews reserved. Registration along with a fee of BD.1 is required and celebrants must be present at Mass to receive the Certificate. Last date to sign up is Friday, 30th August.
4. On Sunday, 8th September, as we celebrate the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary at the 7.00 pm mass, there will be a Marian Apparitions procession conducted by the Legion of Mary. Parishioners interested in enrolling their daughters for the procession are requested to register at the Parish Office. Participation is open to all and the last date for enrollment is Thursday, 5th September.
5. CFC Singles for Christ invite all single men and women from 21 to 40 years of age to participate in a Christian Life Programme which will be held every Friday at 1.30 pm from 6th September to 25th October. This will be conducted in Rooms 15 and 16 of the St. Francis Centre. Registration Forms are available at the Parish Office and from any CFC Singles for Christ member. 
6. The Catechism Ministry announces the commencement of registration for students taking Catechism Classes in English.
   
   Registration, Payment and Sale of Books for all classes will be held on:-
   
   Friday, 23rd August and Friday, 30th August in Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium from 8.00 am to 11.30 am.
   
   Friday, 6th September in the classroom above the canteen from 8.00 am to 11.00 am.
   
   All Catechism Children have to present their Progress Card and CPR No. at the time of Registration. New Registrants for Standard 1 need to submit a copy of their Baptism Certificate and CPR No.
   
   New Registrants for other Grades have to submit a Transfer Certificate and a copy of their Baptism Certificate at the time of Registration along with their CPR No.
   
   Catechism Class for Standard 4 to Standard 12 will commence on 13th September. Standard 1 to Standard 3 classes will commence on 20th September.
7. The Sacred Heart Church is pleased to announce the establishment a Parish Youth Group for participating in parish activities. Youth members from various language groups are encouraged to unite and form this group. This presents a wonderful opportunity for fellowship, spiritual growth, and will be lots of fun. Those who wish to join please give their names and contact numbers to the Parish Office. Application Forms are available in the Parish Office.
