1. The First Friday Parish Holy Hour will be held on 3rd January at 3.45 pm.
2. We celebrate the Baptism of the Lord on Friday 10th, Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th January.
3. Saturday, 4th January is the Ordination Day of Fr. Lijo. Let us pray for his intentions.
4. Friday, 10th January, is the Birthday of Fr. Darel. A Thanksgiving Mass will be offered at 5.00 pm in the Sacred Heart Church.  Sunday, 12th January, is the Birthday of Fr. Nicolson. A Thanksgiving Mass will be offered at 5.30 pm in the Sacred Heart Church. Let us pray for their intentions.
5. The next Pre-Baptism Seminar will be held to Wednesday, 15th January from 7.15 pm to 8.30 pm at the Audio Video Room.  For registration, parents and godparents are requested to visit the Parish Office. This seminar is only for parishioners and expectant mothers too may register. Please be on time and do not bring children.
6. The Feast of Our Lady of Arabia, Patroness of our Vicariate, will be celebrated on Friday 17th and Saturday 18th January. The Nine-Day Novena will commence from Wednesday, 8th January during the evening Masses.  Due to this Novena, the Novena in honour of St. Anthony will not be prayed on Tuesday, 14th January, and there will be only one Novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Help on Wednesdays, 8th and 15th January after the 7pm Mass. For the Schedule of the Novena of Our Lady of Arabia, please refer to the Parish Notice Board.
7. There will be a Marriage Preparation Course on Friday, 17th January at the Audio Video Room from 7.45 am to 5.00 pm. Those interested in attending are requested to register their names at the Parish Office and submit their Baptism Certificate, recently issued for marriage purposes along with the date of Confirmation before 16th January. The Certificate is valid for 6 months from the date of issue. The course fee is BD. 8/- per person, inclusive of lunch and the Certificate. Late comers will not be accepted for the course. 
8. Our Parish is celebrating Parish Family Day 2025, titled “LA FAMILIA 2025”, with the theme “Together We Celebrate in Christ” on Thursday, 6th February & Friday, 7th February 2025. Family Day support coupons and souvenirs are now available at the counter set up in the church courtyard, Parish office and Religious Gift Corner.  All proceeds will go towards the renovation and refurbishment of Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium. We look forward to your generous support and prayers to make “LA FAMILIA 2025” a grand success.
9. For the first time we have printed a Bible Diary for the Year 2025. It will be available at the Religious Gift Corner and in the Parish Office. The price is BD 5/-. As limited copies are available, kindly patronise.
10. Parish Calendars for 2025 are now available at the Parish Office and Religious Gift Corner.
11. The papal intention for the month of January 2025 is to pray for the right to an education for all migrants, refugees and those affected by war.
12. The first Saturday of each month is dedicated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary in accordance with the Marian apparitions of Fatima, which call upon the church to pray for world peace. Holy rosary will be prayed at 5.40 pm in the Sacred Heart Church led by the Legion of Mary. Let us come together as one family in spiritual solidarity with the victims of wars and political unrest all over the world.
13. There will be a “One Day Programme” in English for all nurses in our parish. ” The  Greatest Call 2025 organised by Bishop Aldo Berardi on Saturday 18th January at Cathedral Our Lady of Arabia, Awali. We request the participation of “ALL NURSES “of different communities in this one-day event. Registration will commence from this week after all the obligation Masses. The registration fee will be BD 2/- per person. Please contact your spiritual directors for more information.
