- The Filipino Community will celebrate the Feast of Santo Niño on Friday, 24th January at the 11.30 am mass. On this day, the assembly time for the entrance procession before the mass, will be at 11.30 am near the outdoor stage. Please bring your Santo Niño statues for blessing during this service. We invite all the Filipino members of our Parish to attend this mass. All devotees of the Infant Jesus are also welcome to participate. Due to the Feast Mass at the Sacred Heart Church, the regular 10.30 am Obligation Mass will take place at Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium.
- As we observe the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, to mark the 1,700th anniversary of the Council of the Early Church at Nicaea in 325 AD, which resulted in the Nicene Creed, there will be an Ecumenical Prayer Service on Saturday 25th January at 7pm at St Christopher’s Anglican Cathedral, in Manama. All are requested to participate.
- The Wedding Anniversary Mass for January celebrants will be held on Saturday, 25th January at 6.30 pm. During the mass, celebrants must occupy the pews reserved. Registration along with a fee of BD.1 is required and celebrants must be present at Mass to receive the Certificate. Last date to sign up is Friday, 24th January.
- All are invited to celebrate the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord Jesus on Friday, 31st January at 5.00 pm. We will hold a special Mass dedicated to expectant mothers and children under the age of 12 who are to occupy the benches reserved in the front.
- On Sunday, 2nd February Jacob celebrates the Anniversary of his Ordination at the 5.30 pm Mass. Please join us and pray for his intentions.
- Dear parishioners, as you are well aware, this year, the Family Day celebrations will be held on two days. On Thursday, 6th February, from 7pm to 9.30 pm, join us for a peaceful and serene evening entitled Soul Café where there will be a vast array of barbeque delights by different communities, games as well as traditional, nostalgic live music on the stage.
On Friday, 7th February from 8am to 8pm the official La Familia celebrations begin with food stalls from various communities, games stalls for all individuals, stage programmes and spot prizes throughout the day.
From 8pm to 10pm on Friday 7th February, the festivities continue with a Jam session at Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium with a live band, the Past Masters, in attendance. Entry to this event is BD1 only and there are amazing prizes up for grabs. Get a Big Ten Lucky Dip coupon with a bumper prize of a voucher worth BD500 in gold.
To make this event a successful one, ensure you take a support coupon or two from the La Familia Stall in the church courtyard. Generous benefactors may donate gifts for the various stalls to the Parish Office. - On Family Day, there will only be three Obligation Masses in English at 7.00 am, 8.45 am and 5.00 pm, a Mass in Malayalam at 10.30 am and a Mass in Tagalog at 12 noon in Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium, the entry to which will be from Al Zubara Avenue. The Family Day Thanksgiving Mass will be held on Sunday, 9th February at the 5.30 pm mass.
- The First Friday Parish Holy Hour will be held on 14th February at 3.45 pm.
- The First Saturday of each month is dedicated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary in accordance with the Marian apparitions of Fatima, which calls upon the church to pray for world peace. The Holy Rosary on 1st February will be prayed at 5.40 pm in the Sacred Heart Church led by the Legion of Mary. Let us come together as one family in spiritual solidarity with the victims of wars and political unrest all over the world.
- For the first time we have printed a Bible Diary for the Year 2025. It will be available at the Religious Gift Corner and in the Parish Office. The price is BD 5/-. As limited copies are available, kindly patronise.
