- On Monday, 3rd March Dedication of Mother Church, the solemnity masses will be celebrated at 6.30 am and 6.30 pm in the Mother Church.
- There will be a Lenten Retreat in English which will be conducted by Fr. Thomas Bobby VC and will take place at the Sacred Heart Church from Monday, 17th March to Thursday, 20th March commencing with Holy Mass at 6.30 pm.
- The Sacred Heart Catholic Church will be hosting a Bible Quiz “VERBUM 2025” on Friday, 16th May. All are invited to join, no matter their level of knowledge. Registration for various age groups can be done by scanning the QR code on the banner displayed in the church courtyard. Last date for registration is 5th May.
- On Saturday, 22nd February at the 6.20 am mass, we celebrate the Feast of the Chair of St. Peter as the chair represents a precious relic and honour for the supremacy of Saint Peter and his successors, which has been celebrated from the moment Jesus entrusted Peter with his unique mission.
- The Wedding Anniversary Mass for February celebrants will be held on Saturday, 22nd February at the 6.30 pm Mass in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. During the mass, celebrants must occupy the pews reserved. Registration along with a fee of BD.1 is required and celebrants must be present at Mass to receive the Certificate. Last date to sign up is Friday, 21st February.
- The First Saturday of each month is dedicated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary in accordance with the Marian apparitions of Fatima, which calls upon the church to pray for world peace. The Holy Rosary on 1st March will be prayed at 5.40 pm in the Sacred Heart Church led by the Legion of Mary.
- Ash Wednesday, a day of fast and abstinence, is on 5th March. In order to prepare the ashes for Ash Wednesday, we request you to bring the palms from the previous years, and put them in the box placed at the entrance of the Church before 2nd March.
- All parishioners are invited to attend a Bible Course conducted by Fr Nelson Lobo, the Director of Catechesis and Bible Studies (AVONA) which will be held in Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium on Monday 10th, Tuesday 11th and Thursday 13th March from 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm. Everyone is encouraged to join and grow in knowledge of the scriptures.
- The Sacrament of First Holy Communion for Parish Catechism children will be held on Friday, 25th April and for Sacred Heart School children on Friday, 2nd May. The Sacrament of Confirmation will be administered on Friday, 9th May.
- Parishioners interested in serving as Multimedia Operators to display the mass slides at weekday and obligation masses are to submit their names and contact details to the Parish Office. Basic knowledge of MS Powerpoint is essential and candidates will be contacted for a training session.
- Children who have received their First Holy Communion are invited to join the Altar Servers Ministry. Please fill in the Registration Form on the church website sacredheartchurchbahrain.org
