1. The First Friday Parish Holy Hour will be held on 4th July at 3.45 pm.
2. The Malayalam Community will celebrate the Feast of St. Thomas, the Apostle on Friday, 4th July. In preparation for the feast, a 7-day Novena will commence with the flag hoisting on Friday, 27th June at 7.00 pm in the courtyard, followed by a Holy Mass and Novena at the Sacred Heart Church. The Feast Mass will be celebrated on Friday, 4th July at 10.30 am in the Sacred Heart Church. For more details, please refer to the banner displayed in the courtyard.
3. The Urdu-Hindi community will celebrate the Feast of their patron, Thomas, the Apostle on Friday, 4th July at 4.00 pm in the Mother Church.
4. Wednesday, 9th July is the Ordination Day of Fr. Nicolson. A Thanksgiving Mass will be offered at the 5.30 pm mass. Please participate and join us as we pray for his intentions.
5. The next Pre-Baptism Seminar will be held on Wednesday, 9th July from 7.15 pm to 8.30 pm at the Audio Video Room. For registration, parents and godparents are requested to visit the Parish Office. This seminar is only for parishioners and expectant mothers too may register. Please be on time and do not bring children.
6. There will be a Marriage Preparation Course on Friday, 18th July at the Audio Video Room from 7.45 am to 5.00 pm. Those interested in attending are requested to register their names at the Parish Office and submit their Baptism Certificate, recently issued for marriage purposes along with the date of Confirmation before 17th July. The Certificate is valid for 6 months from the date of issue. The course fee is BD. 8/- per person, inclusive of lunch and the Certificate. Late comers will not be accepted for the course.
7. We are pleased to announce an extraordinary opportunity to participate in the Jubilee Year 2025 through a Holy Pilgrimage to Rome, from 21st September to 30th September, and 1st October to 10th October visits to Jubilee Shrines, and the reception of a Plenary Indulgence by engaging in Works of Mercy. This sacred journey is a call to deepen our faith, seek spiritual renewal, and embrace the grace of God during this special time of jubilee. Those interested in participating are to register their names at the Parish Office.
8. All are invited to serve as a Catechist or volunteer at the English Catechism Ministry of the Sacred Heart Church. We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity by completing the form at the Parish Office and submitting it by 31st July.
