1. On Friday 26th, Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th November we celebrate the First Sunday of Advent.

2. Parishioners, kindly note that with effect from Monday, 22nd November the timings of some of the masses have been amended as follows. On Wednesdays and Sundays the evening 5pm mass has been rescheduled to 5.30 pm. The mass on Friday mornings will be at 7am, 9am and 11am and in the evening at 5pm and 7pm.
   Online registration will only be required for attending mass on Fridays.
   Henceforth, Mass at Sacred Heart Church will only be livestreamed on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays.

3. Dear parishioners, great news for all of us. The long awaited official announcement of the blessings of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Arabia happens now. We praise God and are delighted to inform you all that the civil opening of the Cathedral shall be on Thursday, 9th December at 11 am and blessings on Friday, 10th December at 10 am. As per the instruction from the authorities only a few representatives will be permitted to attend. We thank and praise God for all His blessings.
   
4. The Feast of St. Francis Xavier will be celebrated by the Konkani Community on Friday, 3rd December at 8.30 am. The Novena in preparation for the Feast will commence from Wednesday, 24th November. For Novena timings, you may refer to the banner in the church compound and church website.

5. To celebrate the Feast of St. Cecilia, the Patron Saint of Singers and Musicians, the Sacred Heart Church Music Ministry would like to invite all the choir members from different communities to renew their commitment on Monday, 22nd November at the 7pm mass. This will be followed by the Adoration and a special presentation by the various choirs of the Sacred Heart Church.
   
6. The Marriage Preparation Course will be held on Friday, 26th November at 8.00 am in the St. Padre Pio Social Hall. The church gate will be open from 7.15 am to 7.45 am only and will remain closed thereafter. Wearing a mask is compulsory. Those interested are requested to visit the Parish Office to register their names. Kindly submit your Baptism Certificate, recently issued for marriage purposes along with the date of confirmation before 24th November. The Certificate is valid for 6 months from the date of issue. Registration will be on a first come, first served basis as limited seats are available. The course fee is BD. 8/- per person, inclusive of lunch and the Certificate.
