1. The Feast of Santo Niño will be celebrated by the Filipino community on 20th January at 11.30 am in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  The 9-day Novena is being prayed every evening at 7.30 pm in Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium. On the day of the Feast, the assembly time for the entrance procession before the mass will be at 11.30 am near the outdoor stage. Please bring your Santo Niño statues for blessing during this service. We invite all the Filipino members of our Parish and devotees of the Infant Jesus to attend this mass. Due to this Feast, on 20th January, the regular 10.30 am Obligation Mass in English will take place at Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium.
2. The Annual Vicariate Priests Meeting will be held in Bahrain from Monday, 16th to Thursday, 19th January. Kindly keep all of them in your prayers and pray for the success of this meeting. The English masses in the morning and evening from Monday to Thursday will be held as usual except in the evening on Wednesday, 18th January where there will be only one mass at 6.30 pm with the Bishop(s) and the clergy.
3. As a token of remembrance of the Holy Father’s historical visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain in November 2022, a Souvenir Book has been compiled depicting scenes from every leg of his journey, and will be released on Tuesday, 17th January at 6.30 pm at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Arabia. All are invited.
4. All are invited to participate in a typical African Mass which will be celebrated on Friday, 20th January at 6.00 pm in the Mother Church.
5. There will be a Marriage Preparation Course on Friday, 27th January in the St. Dominic Savio Hall from 7.45 am to 5.00 pm. Those taking part are requested to register their names at the Parish Office and submit their Baptism Certificate, recently issued for marriage purposes along with the date of Confirmation before 25th January. The Certificate is valid for 6 months from the date of issue. The course fee is BD. 8/- per person, inclusive of lunch and the Certificate.
6. All parishioners interested in becoming Extraordinary Ministers for Holy Communion are requested to collect the Registration Form from the Parish Office and return the same duly filled in with the supporting documents. Only those who are available to serve for all parish masses are to register. Last date for submission is 29th January.
7. The Wedding Anniversary Mass for December and January celebrants will be held on Saturday, 28thJanuary at the 6.30 pm Mass in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. During the mass, celebrants must occupy the pews reserved. Registration along with a fee of BD.1 is required and celebrants must be present at Mass to receive the Certificate.  Last date to sign up is Friday, 27th January.
8. The much awaited Family event of the parish, Family Day 2023 will be held on Friday, 3rd February on the church grounds from 8am to 8pm. Parishioners, we count on your support for this Family Day by donating tinned food items, gifts, giveaways etc. which may be given at the Parish Office earlier. Snacks and cooked food can be handed over on the same day. There will be entertainment and stage programmes throughout the day, ensuring a fun day out for the entire family. 9. To mark the memory of the Holy Father’s visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain, a customized and limited edition plaque has been released which is only 100 in number. You may book your plaque in the Parish Office at the earliest. The plaque is priced at BD 25, inclusive of the commemorative gold coin.
