  1. On Wednesday, 25th January we celebrate the Feast of the Conversion of St. Paul, the Apostle
  2. There will be a Marriage Preparation Course on Friday, 27th January in the St. Dominic Savio Hall from 7.45 am to 5.00 pm. Those taking part are requested to register their names at the Parish Office and submit their Baptism Certificate, recently issued for marriage purposes along with the date of Confirmation before 25th January. The Certificate is valid for 6 months from the date of issue. The course fee is BD. 8/- per person, inclusive of lunch and the Certificate.
  3. The Wedding Anniversary Mass for December and January celebrants will be held on Saturday, 28th January at the 6.30 pm Mass in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. During the mass, celebrants must occupy the pews reserved. Registration along with a fee of BD.1 is required and celebrants must be present at Mass to receive the Certificate.  Last date to sign up is Friday, 27th January.
  4. All parishioners interested in becoming Extraordinary Ministers for Holy Communion are requested to collect the Registration Form from the Parish Office and return the same duly filled in with the supporting documents. Only those who are available to serve for all parish masses are to register. Last date for submission is 29th January.
  5. The much awaited Family event of the parish, Family Day 2023 with the theme “Family, Communion of Love,” will be held on Friday, 3rd February on the church grounds from 8am to 8pm. Parishioners, we count on your support for this Family Day by donating tinned food items, gifts, giveaways etc. which may be given at the Parish Office earlier. Snacks and cooked food can be handed over on the same day. There will be entertainment and stage programmes throughout the day, ensuring a fun day out for the entire family. On this day, there will only be three Obligation Masses in English at 7.00 am, 8.45 am and 5.00 pm and a Mass in Tagalog at 12.30 pm in Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium, the entry to which will be from the Al Zubara Avenue.

To mark the visit of the Holy Father Pope Francis to the Kingdom of Bahrain, a souvenir book was released on Tuesday, 17th January at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Arabia.  A digital copy is available on the church website. All families, communities and organizations who have placed advertisements in this book, upon presentation of receipt number and CPR card, may collect a book from the 1st Floor of the Parish Office every evening, except Fridays, from 5 pm to 7 pm until 24th January.
  7. As a further memento of this visit, a customized and limited edition plaque has been released which is only 100 in number. You may book your plaque in the Parish Office at the earliest. The plaque is priced at BD 25, inclusive of the commemorative gold-plated coin.

ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR FRIDAY 7AM AND 8.45 AM MASSES ONLY

  1. Today, the Feast of Santo Niňo will be celebrated by the Filipino community at 11.30 am in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  The assembly time for the entrance procession before the mass will be at 11.30 am near the outdoor stage. Please bring your Santo Niňo statues for blessing during this service. We invite all the Filipino members of our Parish and devotees of the Infant Jesus to attend this mass. Due to this Feast, the regular 10.30 am Obligation Mass in English will take place at Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium.
