1. The Apostolic Vicar of Northern Arabia, His Excellency Bishop Aldo Berardi has appointed Fr. Xavier as the new Parish Priest of the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary, Qatar with effect from 1st October 2023. Let us pray for Fr. Xavier as he takes on this new responsibility.
2. Please pray for Frs. Xavier and Darel who will be travelling for the World Youth Day on 23rd July. In the absence of Fr. Xavier, Fr. Francis will be Priest In-charge of Sacred Heart Church.
3. We celebrate the Feast of St. Mary Magdalene on Saturday, 22nd July at the 6.20 am mass.
4. The Feast of St. James, the Apostle will be celebrated on Tuesday, 25th July.
5. We observe the Memorial of Saints Joachim and Anne, parents of Mary on Wednesday, 26th July.
6. We celebrate Grandparents Day on Thursday, 27th July. There will be a Thanksgiving Mass at 6.30 pm followed by the festivities at Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium. We invite all the grandparents of our parish to attend both, the Mass and the programme thereafter. Those attending are requested to register their names in the Parish Office before 24th July in order to make the necessary arrangements.
