1. We observe the Memorial of St. Maximilian Kolbe on Monday, 14th August. 
2. On Tuesday, 15th August we celebrate the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, which is a day of obligation in our Vicariate, with a collection at all masses.  On that day, the masses in English will be held at 6.20 am, 5.30 pm and 7.00 pm. There will be a procession and incensing at the Solemn Mass at 5.30 pm. The Novena in honour of St. Anthony will not be prayed on this day. For masses in other languages, please refer to the Parish Notice Board.
3. The English Charismatic Prayer Group will organize a Mini Night Vigil in English with the theme “Seek God First” which will be held on Thursday, 24th August from 7.30 pm to 11.30 pm. All parishioners are encouraged to participate in order to find comfort, strength and reassurance in God and His promises.  
4. The Wedding Anniversary Mass for July and August celebrants will be held on Saturday, 26thAugust at the 6.30 pm Mass in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. During the mass, celebrants must occupy the pews reserved. Registration along with a fee of BD.1 is required and celebrants must be present at Mass to receive the Certificate.  Last date to sign up is Friday, 25th August.
5. The El Shaddai, Bahrain Chapter invites all Filipinos to participate in the Catholic Life in the Spirit Seminar which will be held every Friday with effect from 1st September, from 1:30 pm – 5:30 pm, at the St. Lawrence Hall.
6. The Catechism Ministry announces the commencement of registration for students taking Catechism Classes in English.
7. Registration, Payment and Sale of Books for all classes will be held on
   • Friday, 25th August and Friday, 1st September in Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium from 8.00 am to 11.30 am.
   • Saturday, 2nd September from 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm in Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium.
   • Friday, 8th September in the classroom above the canteen from 8.00 am to 11.00 am.
   • Saturday, 9th September in Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium from 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm.
8. All Catechism Children have to present their Progress Card and CPR No. at the time of Registration. New Registrants for Standard 1 need to submit a copy of their Baptism Certificate and CPR No. New Registrants for other Grades have to submit a Transfer Certificate and a copy of their Baptism Certificate at the time of Registration along with their CPR No.
9. Catechism Classes for Standard 4 to Standard 12 will commence on 15th September. Standard 1 to Standard 3 classes will commence on 22nd September. Please see the Notice Board for further details.
