- The First Friday Parish olHolHnknklHoly Hour will be held on 1st September at 3.45 pm.
- We observe the Memorial of St. Augustine, Bishop and Doctor of the Church on Monday, 28th August.
- On Tuesday, 29th August, we observe the Memorial of the Passion of St. John the Baptist.
- The Wedding Anniversary Mass for July and August celebrants will be held on Saturday, 26thAugust at the 6.30 pm Mass in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. During the mass, celebrants must occupy the pews reserved. Registration along with a fee of BD.1 is required and celebrants must be present at Mass to receive the Certificate. Last date to sign up is Friday, 25th August.
- The Tamil Community will celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Valankanni on Thursday, 7th September at 7.30 pm. The 9-day Novena will begin on Tuesday, 29th August with the flag hoisting at 6.30 pm in the courtyard. This year, as the Tamil Community celebrates the Silver Jubilee of this Feast in the Kingdom of Bahrain, there will be a Jubilee Mass on Friday, 8th September at 6.30 pm.
- The Konkani Community will celebrate the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Monti Fest on Friday, 8th September at 8.15 am with the blessing of the new corn and floral offerings by children at the outdoor stage followed by the Feast Mass in Konkani at the Sacred Heart Church. This will be followed by a short cultural programme and lunch at Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium.
The 9-day Novena followed by Mass, conducted by Fr. Anil D’costa from India will begin on Wednesday, 30th August at 7.00 pm at Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium. - The El Shaddai, Bahrain Chapter invites all Filipinos to participate in the Catholic Life in the Spirit Seminar which will be held every Friday with effect from 1st September, from 1:30 pm – 5:30 pm, at the St. Lawrence Hall.
- The Catechism Ministry announces the commencement of registration for students taking Catechism Classes in English.
Registration, Payment and Sale of Books for all classes will be held on- Friday, 25th August and Friday, 1st September in Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium from 8.00 am to 11.30 am.
- Saturday, 2nd September from 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm in Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium.
- Friday, 8th September in the classroom above the canteen from 8.00 am to 11.00 am.
- Saturday, 9th September in Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium from 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm.
All Catechism Children have to present their Progress Card and CPR No. at the time of Registration. New Registrants for Standard 1 need to submit a copy of their Baptism Certificate and CPR No. New Registrants for other Grades have to submit a Transfer Certificate and a copy of their Baptism Certificate at the time of Registration along with their CPR No.
Catechism Classes for Standard 4 to Standard 12 will commence on 15th September. Standard 1 to Standard 3 classes will commence on 22nd September. Please see the Notice Board for further details.
