1. Parishioners, for the updated contact numbers of all our priests, please refer to the Parish Notice Board, especially that of Fr. Francis, whose previous numberhas been changed to 32171233. 

2. The papal intention for the month of September is to pray for people living on the margins of society who are living in inhumane life conditions. 

3. We celebrate the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross on Thursday, 14th September.

4. Thursday, 14th September, is the Ordination Day of Fr. Anthony Almazan. A Thanksgiving Mass will be offered at the 6.30pm mass. Please participate and join us as we pray for his intentions.

5. The next Pre-Baptism Seminar will be on Wednesday, 13th September from 7.15 pm to 8.15 pm at the Audio Video Room.  For registration, parents and godparents are requested to visit the Parish Office. This seminar is only for parishioners and expectant mothers too may register. Please be on time and do not bring children. 

6. There will be a Marriage Preparation Course on Friday, 15thSeptember in the St. Dominic Savio Hall from 7.45 am to 5.00 pm. Those taking part are requested to register their names at the Parish Office and submit their Baptism Certificate, recently issued for marriage purposes, along with the date of Confirmation before 13th September. The Certificate is valid for 6 months from the date of issue. The course fee is BD. 8/- per person, inclusive of lunch and the Certificate.

7. The 5th Gulf Charismatic Conference, under the patronage of His Excellency Bishop Paolo Martinelli, Apostolic Vicar of Southern Arabia, and His Excellency Bishop Aldo Berardi, Apostolic Vicar of Northern Arabia, is scheduled to take place on 1st, 2nd and 3rd December. The venue for the Conference will be St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Dubai, UAE.  For further information about the conference and the registration process, please get in touch with Fredrick D’souza on Mob. 8. Due to the Silver Jubilee Feast mass of Our Lady of Valankanni on 8th September, the regular Malayalam Mass will be celebrated at 3.30 pm at the Sacred Heart Church.

9. On 8th September, due to the Konkani Feast mass, the regular 8.45 am English Mass will be shifted to Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium on that day. 

10. The Wedding Anniversary Mass for September celebrants will be held on Saturday, 23rd September at the 6.30 pm Mass in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. During the mass, celebrants must occupy the pews reserved. Registration along with a fee of BD.1 is required and celebrants must be present at Mass to receive the Certificate. Last date to sign up is Friday, 22nd September.

11. The Catechism Ministry announces the registration for students taking Catechism Classes in English. 

        Registration, Payment and Sale of Books for all classes will be held on 

• Friday, 8th September in the classroom above the canteen from 8.00 am to 11.00 am.

• Saturday, 9th September in Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium from 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm.

All Catechism Children have to present their Progress Card and CPR No. at the time of Registration. New Registrants for Standard 1 need to submit a copy of their Baptism Certificate and CPR No. New Registrants for other Grades have to submit a Transfer Certificate and a copy of their Baptism Certificate at the time of Registration along with their CPR No.

Catechism Classes for Standard 4 to Standard 12 will commence on 15th September. Standard 1 to Standard 3 classes will commence on 22nd September. Please see the Notice Board for further details.
