1. Mission Sunday will be celebrated on Friday 20th, Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd October. Our Holy Father encourages us to take an active part by praying for the missionaries and extending support through contributions. The collection made on these days will be sent to the Vatican for Mission works. Envelopes will be distributed after each mass. Please enclose your generous contribution and drop them in the box kept at the entrance of the Sacred Heart Church.
2. The month of the Holy Rosary come to an end on Tuesday, 31st October. On that day, there will be a con-celebrated Mass at 6.30 pm followed by the Living Rosary in the Church compound. We invite all parishioners to participate.
3. The Handing of Faith will be held on 27th October at 10:30am in Sacred Heart Church. Due to this mass, the regular Youth Mass will take place at Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium.
4. The Wedding Anniversary Mass for October celebrants will be held on Sunday, 28th October at the 6.30 pm Mass. During the mass, celebrants must occupy the pews reserved. Registration along with a fee of BD.1 is required and celebrants must be present at Mass to receive the Certificate. Last date to sign up is Friday, 27th October.
5. The Feast of All Saints will be celebrated on Wednesday, 1st November. Masses in English on that dat will be at 6.20 am, 5.30 pm and 7.00 pm. For masses in other languages, please refer to the Notice Board.
6. All Souls Day will be celebrated on Thursday, 2nd November. Mass in English will be at 6.20 am, 5.30 pm and 7.00 pm. For masses in other languages, please refer to the Notice Board.
7. On All Souls Day, the Salmabad Cemetery will be blessed at 1.30 pm and the old Manama Cemetery at 3.00 pm. A special collection will be made during all masses on this day for the maintenance of the cemeteries.
8. We gain a plenary indulgence for the dead under the usual condition; that is by visiting the Church and with devotion, reciting the Our Father, the Creed and praying for the intentions of the Holy Father. Anyone who visits the cemetery from 1st to 8th November and prays for the souls in purgatory will also gain a plenary indulgence.
9. The First Friday Parish Holy Hour will be held on 3rd November at 3.45 pm.
10. On Saturday, 4th November the celebration of the Jubilee Year Inaugural Mass and Holy Door Opening of St. Arethas will be held at 11.00 am at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Arabia.
11. There will be a Christmas Carol Singing Competition, open to all parishioners of the Church and Cathedral, on Thursday, 14th December at 7.30 pm on the outdoor stage in the Sacred Heart Church compound. Registration, for 10 groups only, will start on 22nd October and Registration Forms are available at the Parish Office. Last date for submission is 7th December.
12. The English Catechism Ministry of our Parish will be celebrating Catechism Fun Day 2023 on 10th November in the church compound from 7.45 am to 2.00 pm with games and food stalls. Kindly patronise.
    On Friday, 3rd November and Saturday, 4th November, various competitions will be organized for all children from our Parish so that they can exhibit their talents. For registration forms, you may contact the Parish Office or the Catechism Office on Friday between 7.30am and 12 noon. The last day to return registration forms is 30th October. For further details, refer to the Banner in the church compound. There will be Catechism classes and Youth Mass on Friday 3rd and 10th November as usual.
13. Kindly return the Mission Sunday envelopes with your generous contribution by dropping them in the boxes marked Mission Sunday, which are kept at the entrance of the Mother Church and the Sacred Heart Church.

On Saturday, 21st October, during the 7 pm Mass at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Arabia Fr. Saji Thomas will be installed as the Rector of the Cathedral, by Bishop Aldo Berardi of the Vicariate of Northern Arabia. Everyone is welcome to attend.
