1. The First Friday Parish Holy Hour will be held on 3rd November at 3.45 pm.
2. On Saturday, 4th November the celebration of the Jubilee Year Inaugural Mass and Holy Door Opening of St. Arethas will be officiated by H. E. Bishop Aldo Berardi at 11.00 am at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Arabia. This is one of the most important celebrations in the Vicariate to commemorate the presence of the 5th Century Christians in the Arabian Penninsula and the celebrations will continue for one year. Arrangements have been made for transportation and buses will leave the Art & Craft Centre from 9 am onwards. All are requested to attend and participate in this event.
3. There will be a Marriage Preparation Course on Friday, 17th November in the St. Dominic Savio Hall from 7.45 am to 5.00 pm. Those taking part are requested to register their names at the Parish Office and submit their Baptism Certificate, recently issued for marriage purposes, along with the date of Confirmation before 15th November. The Certificate is valid for 6 months from the date of issue. The course fee is BD. 8/- per person, inclusive of lunch and the Certificate.
4. There will be a Christmas Carol Singing Competition, open to all parishioners of the Church and Cathedral, on Thursday, 14th December at 7.30 pm on the outdoor stage in the Sacred Heart Church compound. Registration for 10 groups only, will start on 22nd October and Registration Forms are available at the Parish Office. Last date for submission is 7th December.
5. The English Catechism Ministry of our Parish will be celebrating its Catechism Fun Day 2023 on 10th November in the church compound from 7.45 am to 2.00 pm with games and food stalls. Kindly patronise. Various competitions have been organized for all children from our Parish so that they can exhibit their talents.
   Due to ongoing exams, the competitions scheduled for Friday, 3rd November have been postponed to 17th November however competitions scheduled for Saturday, 4th November will proceed as usual. For registrations forms, please contact the Parish Office or the Catechism Office on Friday between 7.30 am and 12 noon. For further details, refer to the Banner in the church compound. There will be Catechism classes and Youth Mass on Friday 3rd and 10th November as usual.
6. There will be a one-day programme in English for all the nurses of our parish entitled The Greatest Call 2023 initiated by Bishop Aldo Berardi held on Saturday, 18th November at the Sacred Heart Church. We request the participation of all the nurses of the different communities. Registration will commence this week after all obligation masses. Registration Fee is BD 2 per person. Details have been put on the poster in the church compound. Please contact your Spiritual Directors for more information.
