- On Monday, 1st January, we celebrate the Solemnity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of God. Masses in English will be held at 7.00 am, 8.30 am, 10.00 am, 5.30 pm and 7.00 pm at the Sacred Heart Church. For masses in other languages, please refer to the Parish Notice Board or Church website.
- Flowers to decorate the Altar in Manama for the New Year services may be brought to the Sacristy by Sunday morning, 31st December before 12 noon.
- Tuesday, 2nd January is the Ordination Day of our Parish Priest Fr. Francis. A Thanksgiving Mass will be offered at 6.30 pm in the Sacred Heart Church. Let us participate and pray for his intentions.
- The First Friday Parish Holy Hour will be held on 5th January at 3.45 pm.
- The Feast of Our Lady of Arabia, Patroness of our Vicariate, will be celebrated on Friday 12th, Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th January. The Nine-Day Novena will commence from Wednesday, 3rd January during the evening Masses. Due to this Novena, the Novena in honour of St. Anthony will not be prayed on Tuesday, 9th January, and there will be only one Novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Help on Wednesdays, 3rd and 10th January after the 7pm Mass. - Parish Calendars for 2024 are now available at the Parish Office and Religious Gift Corner.
ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR FRIDAY ONLY - The Wedding Anniversary Mass for December celebrants will be held on Saturday, 30th December at 6.30 pm. During the mass, celebrants must occupy the pews reserved. Registration along with a fee of BD.1 is required and celebrants must be present at Mass to receive the Certificate. Last date to sign up is today, 29th December.
ANNOUNTMENTS FOR FRIDAY AND SATURDAY ONLY - Sunday, 31st December is the last day of the Year 2023. There will be a Thanksgiving Holy Hour at 7.00 pm followed by the Solemn Mass at 8.00 pm in the Sacred Heart Church. All parishioners are invited to participate in these services.
