1. On February, 2nd February Fr. Jacob will celebrate his Ordination Day during the 5 pm mass. Please pray for his intentions.
2. On Friday, 2nd February we celebrate the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord at all masses with a Solemn High Mass at 5.00 pm. On Saturday, 3rd and Sunday, 4th February we observe the 5th Sunday in Ordinary Time.
3. All parishioners are invited to attend the Bible Classes conducted by Fr Nelson Lobo, Director of Catechesis and Bible Studies (AVONA) which will be held in Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium every Monday and Tuesday until 6th February from 7.00 pm to 8.30 pm. Everyone is encouraged to join and grow in knowledge of the scriptures.
4. The Wedding Anniversary Mass for January celebrants will be held on Saturday, 27th January at the 6.30 pm Mass. During the mass, celebrants must occupy the pews reserved. Registration along with a fee BD.1 is required and celebrants must be present at Mass to receive the Certificate. Last date to sign up is Friday, 26th January.
5. The next Pre-Baptism Seminar will be on Wednesday, 7th February from 7.15 pm to 8.15 pm at the Audio Video Room. For registration, parents and godparents are requested to visit the Parish Office. This seminar is only for parishioners and expectant mothers too may register. Please be on time and do not bring children.
6. The much-awaited family event of the parish, Family Day 2024 will be held on Friday, 9th February on the church grounds from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm. There will be fancy dress competition on the Family day for the following age groups Upto 5 years and 6 to 10 years. Entry forms and registration at the parish office. Closing date for entries 6th February by 6.30pm or first 20 entries in each age group. Parishioners, we count on your support for this Family Day by donating food items, gifts, giveaways etc. which may be given at the Parish Office earlier. Snacks and cooked food can be handed over on the same day. There will be entertainment and stage programmes throughout the day, ensuring a fun day out of for the entire family. 7. On Family Day, there will only be three Obligation Masses in English at 7.00 am, 8.45 am and 5.00 pm, a Mass in Malayalam at 10.30 am and a Mass in Tagalog at 12noon in Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium, the entry to which will be from Al Zubara Avenue.
8. The Sacrament of First Holy Communion for the children of the parish will be held on Friday, 5th April and students of Sacred Heart School on Friday, 12th April. The Sacrament of Confirmation will be administered on Friday, 19th April.
