1. On Friday, 2nd February, we celebrate the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord at all masses with a Solemn High Mass at 5.00 pm. On Saturday, 3rd and Sunday, 4th February we observe the 5th Sunday in Ordinary Time.
2. The First Friday Parish Holy Hour will be held on 2nd February at 3.45 pm in the Sacred Heart Church.
3. On Friday, 2nd February Fr. Jacob celebrates the Anniversary of his Ordination at the 5.00 pm Mass. Please join us and pray for his intentions.
4. The papal intention for the month of February is to pray for the terminally ill.
5. Ash Wednesday, which marks the beginning of the Holy Season of Lent, will fall on 14th February. The timings of the masses will be announced later.
6. In order to prepare the ashes for Ash Wednesday, we request you to bring the palms from the previous years, and put them in the box placed at the entrance of the Church before 10th February.
7. All parishioners are invited to attend the Bible Classes conducted by Fr Nelson Lobo, Director of Catechesis and Bible Studies (AVONA) which will be held in Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium every Monday and Tuesday until 6th February from 7.00 pm to 8.30 pm. Everyone is encouraged to join and grow in knowledge of the scriptures.
8. The next Pre-Baptism Seminar will be on Wednesday, 7th February from 7.15 pm to 8.15 pm at the Audio Video Room.  For registration, parents and godparents are requested to visit the Parish Office. This seminar is only for parishioners and expectant mothers too may register. Please be on time and do not bring children.
9. The much-awaited family event of the parish, Family Day 2024 will be held on Friday, 9th February on the church grounds from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm. There will be Fancy Dress competition on the Family Day for two age groups i.e upto 5 years, and 6 to 10 years of age. For Entry Forms and registration please approach the Parish Office. Closing date for entries is 6th February by 6.30 pm or first 20 entries in each age group. 
10. Parishioners, we count on your support for this Family Day by donating food items, gifts, giveaways etc. which may be given at the Parish Office earlier. Snacks and cooked food can be handed over on the same day. There will be entertainment and stage programmes throughout the day, ensuring a fun day out for the entire family. 11. On Family Day, there will only be three Obligation Masses in English at 7.00 am, 8.45 am and 5.00 pm, a Mass in Malayalam at 10.30 am and a Mass in Tagalog at 12noon in Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium, the entry to which will be from Al Zubara Avenue.The Sacrament of First Holy Communion for the children of the parish will be held on Friday, 5th April and students of Sacred Heart School on Friday, 12th April. The Sacrament of Confirmation will be administered on Friday, 19th April.
