1. The First Friday Parish Holy Hour will be held on 1st March at 3.15 pm. This will be followed by the Stations of the Cross in the courtyard at 4.15 pm.
2. There will be a Lenten Deliverance Retreat in English which will be conducted by Fr. Antony Parankimalil VC and will take place at the Sacred Heart Church from 4th to 7th March commencing with Holy Mass at 6.30 pm. Due to this, on Tuesday 5th March, the Novena in honour of St. Anthony will not be prayed. On Wednesday 6th March, the Stations of the Cross will be held at 6.00 pm in the Sacred Heart Church. There will be only one Mass at 6.30 pm followed by the Retreat and the Novena in honour of Our Lady of Perpetual Help will not be prayed.
3. All parishioners are requested to make time and attend the Parish Lenten Missions which will also be conducted in Malayalam, Tagalog and Tamil. For details, please refer to the banner displayed on the outdoor stage.
4. During Lent on Wednesdays, there will only be one Novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Help after the 7.00 pm Mass. The Parish Way of the Cross will be held on Wednesdays at 6.15 pm in the Sacred Heart Church and on Fridays at 4.15 pm in the courtyard.
5. In preparation for the Holy Week, while the priests are available in the confessionals,  parishioners are encouraged to utilize this opportunity to make their confessions.
6. The Wedding Anniversary Mass for February celebrants will be held on Saturday, 24th February at the 6.30 pm Mass in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. During the mass, celebrants must occupy the pews reserved. Registration along with a fee of BD.1 is required and celebrants must be present at Mass to receive the Certificate.  Last date to sign up is Friday, 23rd February.
7. The next Pre-Baptism Seminar will be on Wednesday, 13th March from 7.15 pm to 8.15 pm at the Audio Video Room. For registration, parents and godparents are requested to visit the Parish Office. This seminar is only for parishioners and expectant mothers too may register. Please be on time and do not bring children.
8. There will be a Marriage Preparation Course on Friday, 15th March in the St. Dominic Savio Hall from 7.45 am to 5.00 pm. Those taking part are requested to register their names at the Parish Office and submit their Baptism Certificate, recently issued for marriage purposes along with the date of Confirmation before 14th March. The Certificate is valid for 6 months from the date of issue. The course fee is BD. 8/- per person, inclusive of lunch and the Certificate.
9. The Sacrament of First Holy Communion for the children of the parish will be held on Friday, 5th April and students of Sacred Heart School on Friday, 12th April. The Sacrament of Confirmation will be administered on Friday, 19th April.
10. There will be a Kids and Teens Retreat for parish children from Class 1 to Class 12, commencing from 29th June to 2nd July, which will be animated by the Anointing Fire Catholic Youth Ministry team from U.S.A. This retreat is compulsory for all children. Parents, please make arrangements for your vacation accordingly. Timings and other details will be announced later.
11. Lenten Alms Envelopes have been distributed and are available at the Parish Office. The proceeds will go towards the Campaign against Hunger and Thirst. Please take one envelope per family and return it with your contribution on or before Palm Sunday by dropping it in the box labelled Lenten Alms which is kept at the entrance of the Church.
12. A Blood Donation Camp will be conducted in our parish under the initiative of Jesus Youth on 23rd February from 8.00 am to 12.00 pm.  All are urged to participate in this generous act to save lives. To register, please scan the QR code from the poster on the notice board.
13. Children who have received their First Holy Communion are invited to join the Altar Servers Ministry. Please download the Registration Form from www.sacredheartchurchbahrain.org and submit it, duly filled in, to the Parish Office by 20th March.
14. Catholic children born in 2020 are eligible for registration to LKG for the Academic Year 2024 – 2025. Online Registration Forms are available on the school website www.shsbahrain.edu.bh from Sunday, 18th February to Thursday, 29th February.
