1. The First Friday Parish Holy Hour will be held on 1st March at 3.15 pm. This will be followed by the Stations of the Cross in the courtyard at 4.15 pm. 
2. The papal intention for the month of March is to pray for the martyrs of our day who are witnesses to Christ.
3. There will be a Lenten Deliverance Retreat in English which will be conducted by Fr. Antony Parankimalil VC and will take place at the Sacred Heart Church from Monday, 4th to Thursday, 7th March commencing with Holy Mass at 6.30 pm. Due to this, on Tuesday 5th March, the Novena in honour of St. Anthony will not be prayed. On Wednesday 6th March, the Stations of the Cross will be held at 6.00 pm in the Sacred Heart Church. There will be only one Mass at 6.30 pm followed by the Retreat and the Novena in honour of Our Lady of Perpetual Help will not be prayed.
4. All parishioners are requested to make time and attend the Parish Lenten Missions which will also be conducted in Malayalam, Tagalog and Tamil. For details, please refer to the banner displayed on the outdoor stage.
5. During Lent on Wednesdays, there will only be one Novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Help after the 7.00 pm Mass. The Parish Way of the Cross will be held on Wednesdays at 6.15 pm in the Sacred Heart Church and on Fridays at 4.15 pm in the courtyard. 
6. In preparation for the Holy Week, while the priests are available in the confessionals, parishioners are encouraged to utilize this opportunity to make their confessions.
7. The next Pre-Baptism Seminar will be on Wednesday, 13th March from 7.15 pm to 8.15 pm at the Audio Video Room.  For registration, parents and godparents are requested to visit the Parish Office. This seminar is only for parishioners and expectant mothers too may register. Please be on time and do not bring children.
8. 8.There will be a Marriage Preparation Course on Friday, 15th March in the St. Dominic Savio Hall from 7.45 am to 5.00 pm. Those taking part are requested to register their names at the Parish Office and submit their Baptism Certificate, recently issued for marriage purposes along with the date of Confirmation before 14th March. The Certificate is valid for 6 months from the date of issue. The course fee is BD. 8/- per person, inclusive of lunch and the Certificate.
9. The CFC Singles for Christ will be conducting a Christian Life Programme for single men and women, every Friday at 1.30 pm commencing from 22nd March to 24th May. Application forms are available at the Parish Office and from any Couples for Christ members. For more details, please refer the Notice Boards.
10. The Sacrament of First Holy Communion for the children of the parish will be held on Friday, 5th April and students of Sacred Heart School on Friday, 12th April. The Sacrament of Confirmation will be administered on Friday, 19th April.
11. There will be a Kids and Teens Retreat for parish children from Class 1 to Class 12, commencing from 29th June to 2nd July, which will be animated by the Anointing Fire Catholic Youth Ministry team from U.S.A. This retreat is compulsory for all children. Parents, please make arrangements for your vacation accordingly. Timings and other details will be announced later.
12. Lenten Alms Envelopes have been distributed and are available at the Parish Office. The proceeds will go towards the Campaign against Hunger and Thirst. Please take one envelope per family and return it with your contribution on or before Palm Sunday by dropping it in the box labelled Lenten Alms which is kept at the entrance of the Church.
13. Children who have received their First Holy Communion are invited to join the Altar Servers Ministry. Please download the Registration Form from the church website www.sacredheartchurchbahrain.org and submit it, duly filled in, to the Parish Office by 20th March.
14. Parents, please encourage your children to receive the Holy Communion with reverence and devotion. Regrettably, some children were seen chewing gum during the children’s mass. It is the responsibility of parents to nurture their children in a manner that promotes a respectful attitude towards faith and moral values.
15. On Sunday, 3rd March we commemorate the Dedication of the Sacred Heart Church at the 5.30 pm mass which will be celebrated in the Mother Church. There will not be any other mass at this time. If the space is insufficient in the Mother Church, the mass will be livestreamed in Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium. All parishioners are requested to attend this Mass.
