1. On Thursday, 25th April, we celebrate the Feast of St. Mark, the Evangelist.
2. Saturday, 27th April, is the Ordination Day of Fr. Darel. Let us pray for his intentions
3. The Sacrament of Confirmation will be administered on Friday, 19th April. The 10.30 am obligation Mass in English will be held at Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium.
4. On Friday 19th, Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st April, we observe Vocation Sunday or Good Shepherd Sunday. On this, the 61st Anniversary of the World Day of Prayer for Vocations, as pilgrims of hope and builders of peace, let us pray for more vocations, especially to the priesthood and consecrated life.
5. The Wedding Anniversary Mass for March and April celebrants will be held on Saturday, 27th April at 6.30 pm. During the mass, celebrants must occupy the pews reserved. Registration along with a fee of BD.1 is required and celebrants must be present at Mass to receive the Certificate. Last date to sign up is Friday, 26th April.
6. This is a reminder to personally drop your Lenten Alms Envelopes in the boxes     labeled “Lenten Alms” which are located at the entrance of the Sacred Heart Church and the Mother Church.
7. The CFC Singles for Christ is conducting a Christian Life Programme, every Friday afternoon, for married couples, single men and women, as well as men of 40 years and above who are single fathers, widowers or married men whose wives are not in Bahrain. Application forms are available at the Parish Office and from any Couples for Christ members. For more details, please refer to the Notice Boards.
8. There will be a Kids and Teens Retreat for parish children from Class 1 to Class 12, commencing from 29th June to 2nd July, which will be animated by the Anointing Fire Catholic Youth Ministry team from U.S.A. This retreat is compulsory for all children. Parents, please make arrangements for your vacation accordingly. Timings and other details will be announced later.
9. The Holy Door pilgrimage will be conducted at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Arabia every Monday immediately after the 7.00 pm Mass in English. Pilgrims entering through the Holy Door are eligible to receive plenary indulgences for themselves or the souls of the faithful departed.
10. The Apostolic Vicariate of Northern Arabia proudly presents the commemorative coin of St. Arethas and Our Lady of Arabia, with the blessings of His Excellency Bishop Aldo Berardi.
    As we eagerly wait to celebrate the sesquimillennial (1500th) Anniversary of the martyrdom of Saint Arethas and companions, this would be a great opportunity for us to bag a coin for our family and friends. Let this coin be the first among many gifts you buy for the children who are receiving their First Holy Communion and Confirmation.
    This coin has the image of St Arethas on one side and the image of Our Lady of Arabia on the other. Priced at BD10 per piece, the income generated from selling the same will be used towards the construction of our Bishop’s House.
