1. On Tuesday, 18th March E. Bishop Aldo Berardi celebrates the 2nd Anniversary of his Episcopal Ordination. We pray that God continues to bless him with strength, wisdom and good health as he accomplishes his mission to his people. There will be a thanksgiving mass at 7.00 pm at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Arabia. Let us participate and pray for his intentions.
2. Priest, Fr. Anthony Almazan celebrates his Birthday onTuesday, 18th March. A Thanksgiving Mass will be offered on Monday, 17th at 6.30 pm. Let us participate and pray for his intentions.
3. His beatitude Pierbattista Cardinal Pizzabella OFM Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem will be visiting our parish on March 20 to 23.
4. The Solemnity of St. Joseph will be celebrated on Thursday, 20th March at 6.20 am and 6.30 pm at the Sacred Heart Church.
5. There will be a Lenten Retreat in English which will be conducted by Fr. Bobby Thomas VC and will take place at the Sacred Heart Church from Monday, 17th March to Thursday, 20th March commencing with Holy Mass at 6.30 pm. For more details please refer to the banner displayed in the outdoor stage.
6. The Malayalam Lenten Retreat led by Bobby Thomas VC will take place at the Sacred Heart Church from Monday, 24th March to Thursday, 27th March commencing with Holy Mass at 6.30 pm. For more details please refer to the banner displayed in the outdoor stage.
7. Due to the Retreats, on Tuesdays 18th and 25th March, the Novena in honour of St. Anthony will not be prayed. On Wednesdays 19th and 26th March, the Stations of the Cross will be held at 6.00 pm in the Sacred Heart Church. There will be only one Mass at 6.30 pm followed by the Retreat. The Novena in honour of Our Lady of Perpetual Help will not be prayed.
8. There will be a Lenten Retreat in Tamil which will be conducted by Fr. Ravi Joseph Lourdhu Swamy and will take place at Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium from Monday, 24th March to Thursday, 27th March commencing with Holy Mass at 7.00 pm.
9. There will be a Marriage Preparation Course on Friday, 21st March at the Audio Video Room from 7.45 am to 5.00 pm. Those interested in attending are requested to register their names at the Parish Office and submit their Baptism Certificate, recently issued for marriage purposes along with the date of Confirmation before 20th March. The Certificate is valid for 6 months from the date of issue. The course fee is BD. 8/- per person, inclusive of lunch and the Certificate. Late comers will not be accepted for the course. 
10. There will be a “Kids and Teens” retreat for parish children from Class 1 to 12 commencing from Tuesday, 1st July to Friday, 4th July This retreat is compulsory for all the children. Parents please make arrangements for your vacation accordingly. Timings and other details will be announced later.
11. We are pleased to announce an extraordinary opportunity to participate in the Jubilee Year 2025 through a Holy Pilgrimage to Rome, visits to Jubilee Shrines, and the reception of Plenary Indulgence by engaging in Works of Mercy. This sacred journey is a call to deepen our faith, seek spiritual renewal, and embrace the grace of God during this special time of jubilee. Those who are interested in participating, please register your name at the parish office.
12. The Wedding Anniversary Mass for March celebrants will be held on Saturday, 29th March at 6.30 pm. During the mass, celebrants must occupy the pews reserved. Registration along with a fee of BD.1 is required and celebrants must be present at Mass to receive the Certificate. Last date to sign up is Friday, 28th March.
13. During this season of Lent, let us unite in generosity and compassion, offering our donations under the patronage of St. Antony POSA to support those in need. Your kindness makes a difference, please come forward and share your contribution.
14. The Sacred Heart Catholic Church will be hosting a Bible Quiz “VERBUM 2025” on Friday, 16th May. All are invited to join, no matter their level of knowledge. Registration for various age groups can be done by scanning the QR code on the banner displayed in the church courtyard. Last date for registration is 5th May.
15. Children who have received their First Holy Communion are invited to join the Altar Servers Ministry. Please fill in the Registration Form on the church website sacredheartchurchbahrain.org
16. The Sacrament of First Holy Communion for Parish Catechism children will be held on Friday, 25th April and for Sacred Heart School children on Friday, 2nd May. The Sacrament of Confirmation will be administered on Friday, 9th May.
