1. On Friday, 30th May and Sunday, 1st June we celebrate the Feast of the Ascension of the Lord. On Saturday, 31st May we observe the Vigil of the Ascension of the Lord at the 6.30 pm mass.
2. The Wedding Anniversary Mass for May celebrants will be held on Saturday, 31st May at 6.30 pm. During the mass, celebrants must occupy the pews reserved. Registration along with a fee of BD.1 is required and celebrants must be present at Mass to receive the Certificate. Last date to sign up is Friday, 30th May.
3. The Pentecost Night Vigil in English will be held on Thursday, 5th June from 7.15 pm till midnight. All parishioners are invited to participate and be blessed with the power of the Holy Spirit.
4. The First Friday Parish Holy Hour will be held on 6th June at 3.45 pm.
5. Friday, 6th June, is the last day of Catechism. There will be a Catechism Mass at 8.45 am in the Sacred Heart Church. Due to this, the regular English Obligation Mass at 8.45 am will be shifted to Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium.
6. The First Saturday of each month is dedicated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The Holy Rosary at 5.40 pm on 7th June in the Sacred Heart Church, led by the Legion of Mary, will be prayed for world peace.
7. There will be a “2000 Hail Mary” prayer devotion on Sunday, June 8th in the Mother Church from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm. All parishioners are invited to join in this powerful intercessory prayer conducted by the Legion of Mary.
8. The Solemnity of Pentecost will be celebrated on Friday, 6th and Sunday, 8th June. The Vigil of Pentecost will be celebrated on Saturday, 7th June. The 9-Day Novena to the Holy Spirit has commenced and is being prayed soon after the English Mass. On Wednesday, 4th June, the Novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Succor will only be prayed after the 7:00 pm mass. On Tuesday, 3rd June, the Novena in honour of St. Anthony will not be prayed. 9. On Monday, 9th June, we observe the Memorial of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church.
10. The next Pre-Baptism Seminar will be held on Wednesday, 11th June from 7.15 pm to 8.30 pm at the Audio Video Room. For registration, parents and godparents are requested to visit the Parish Office. This seminar is only for parishioners and expectant mothers too may register. Please be on time and do not bring children.
11. On Friday, 13th June, Saji, the Rector of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Arabia celebrates his Birthday. Please pray for his intentions.
12. There will be a Kids & Teens Retreat entitled “IGNITE 2025 – Encounter Jesus’ Heart” for parish children from Class 1 to 12 commencing from Tuesday, 1st July to Thursday, 3rd July from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm. Morning snacks & Lunch will be provided. Registration Forms are available at the Parish Office / Catechism Office and Religious Gift Corner. This Retreat is compulsory for all parish children. Parents, please make arrangements for your vacation accordingly. Last date to submit the Registration Form is 6th June. For more details, please refer to the banner displayed on the outdoor stage.
13. The Lectors Ministry invites interested parishioners who are committed, have received the Sacrament of Confirmation, and are willing and capable of proclaiming the Word of God loudly and clearly to register by submitting their name, telephone number and email address at the Parish Office before 23rd June.
14. We are pleased to announce an extraordinary opportunity to participate in the Jubilee Year 2025 through a Holy Pilgrimage to Rome, from 21st September to 30th September, and 1st October to 10th October visits to Jubilee Shrines, and the reception of a Plenary Indulgence by engaging in Works of Mercy. This sacred journey is a call to deepen our faith, seek spiritual renewal, and embrace the grace of God during this special time of jubilee.
