1. The papal intention for the month of February 2025 is to pray for vocations to the priesthood and religious life.
2. Dear parishioners, on Friday, 7th February, we celebrate Family Day. The official La Familia celebrations in the church courtyard run until 8pm with food stalls from various communities, games stalls for all individuals, stage programmes and spot prizes throughout the day.
   From 8pm to 10pm, the festivities continue with a Jam session at Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium with a live band, the Past Masters, in attendance.  Entry to this event is BD1 only and there are amazing prizes up for grabs. Get a Big Ten Lucky Dip coupon with a bumper prize of a voucher worth BD500 in gold.
   To make this event a successful one, ensure you take a support coupon or two from the La Familia Stall in the church courtyard. Parishioners have the convenience of making transactions at the coupon counters using Benefit pay or Debit card.
3. On Family Day, Friday 7th February, there will only be three Obligation Masses in English at 7.00 am, 8.45 am and 4.30 pm, a Mass in Malayalam and Malankara at 10.30 am and a Mass in Tagalog at 12 noon in Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium, the entry to which will be from Al Zubara Avenue.
4. Tuesday, 11th February is the Commemoration of Our Lady of Lourdes and World Day of Prayer for the Sick, an observation introduced by Pope John Paul II. There will be a procession to the Grotto after the 6.30 pm mass. Please remember to pray for those suffering from illnesses as well as those who provide care to them.
5. The next Pre-Baptism Seminar will be on Wednesday, 12th February from 7.15 pm to 8.30 pm at the Audio Video Room. For registration, parents and godparents are requested to visit the Parish Office. This seminar is only for parishioners and expectant mothers too may register. Please be on time and do not bring children.
6. The Parish Holy Hour will be held on 14th February at 3.45 pm.
7. The Wedding Anniversary Mass for February celebrants will be held on Saturday, 22nd February at the 6.30 pm Mass in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. During the mass, celebrants must occupy the pews reserved. Registration along with a fee of BD.1 is required and celebrants must be present at Mass to receive the Certificate. Last date to sign up is Friday, 21st February.
8. We have printed a Bible Diary for the Year 2025 which is available at the Religious Gift Corner and the Parish Office. The price is BD 5/-.
9. Parish Calendars for 2025 are now available at the Parish Office and Religious Gift Corner.
10. The Sacrament of First Holy Communion for Parish Catechism children will be held on Friday, 25th April and for Sacred Heart School children on Friday, 2nd May. The Sacrament of Confirmation will be administered on Friday, 9th May.
