INSTRUCTIONS, GUIDELINES & REGULATIONS

Below are the instructions; guidelines & regulations predisposed, following the opening of the Church. PLASE READ CAREFULLY!

*PLEASE NOTE- For Both OBLIGATION & WEEKDAY masses, age restrictions still apply (12-59 years of age), & Vaccination certificate from BeAware app is compulsory!

OBLIGATION MASSES (FRIDAY; SATURDAY; SUNDAY):

  • BOOKING IS MANDATORY (120 seats/mass)
  • Obligation masses in English will be held on Friday at 6:30am, 9:30am, 12:30pm, 3:30pm, and 7:00pm & Saturday and Sunday at 6:30am and 7:00pm.
  • OBLIGATION mass attendance is restricted to persons between 12 & 59 years of age.
  • Anyone within the allowed age limit, should have completed 14 days after the second dose of COVID-19 vaccination.
  • Kindly note that It is COMPULSORY to present your Vaccination Certificate from the BeAware app, in order to be admitted onto the premises.
  • Once registration for the respective OBLIGATION mass is completed and all steps are followed, you will receive a Booking reference number (eg. B-0010); in the form of an SMS Message/ Booking confirmation from the website. Please present one of the above to the security when entering the premises.
  • The Church gate will close 5minutes before the start of the respective Mass
  • All language masses will continue online until further notice.
  • OBLIGATION masses (Friday; Saturday; Sunday) will be streamed at 7:00pm from the Parish YouTube Channel.

WEEKDAY MASSES (MONDAY to THURSDAY):

  • FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS/ NO BOOKING REQUIRED (120 seats/mass)
  • Weekday masses in English from Monday to Thursday will be held at 6:30am and 7:00pm.
  • WEEKLY mass attendance is restricted to persons between 12 & 59 years of age.
  • Anyone within the allowed age limit, should have completed 14 days after the second dose of COVID-19 vaccination.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THOSE VISITING THE CHURCH FOR PRAYER AND OFFICE VISITS

  • Visits have NO age restrictions.
  • Visits are restricted to *VACCINATED PERSONS ONLY*
  • Children below 18 years, can enter the church compound as long as accompanied by vaccinated parent/s or Guardian.
  • Parishioners will be allowed to enter the church compound, to visit the parish office and for prayer not exceeding 5 minutes.
  • Kindly note that It is COMPULSORY to present your Vaccination Certificate from the BeAware app, in order to be admitted onto the premises.
  • Prayer visits will be limited to grotto, statue of St Anthony and Icon of Perpetual Succour.
  • The Blessed Sacrament Chapel will remain closed.
  • The timings for the visits from (Saturday to Thursday) are as follows:
    • 8:00am t 12:00pm
    • 3:30pm to 6:00pm
  • ON FRIDAYS, ENTRY TO THE CHURCH WILL BE LIMITED TO THOSE PARTICIPATING IN THE SERVICES/MASSES, SUSPENDING ALL PRAYER & OFFICE VISITS.
  • For the duration of both the obligation and weekday services/masses, the church premises will remain closed.

SACRAMENTS

  • No Confession will be held until further notice.
  • The sacraments of baptism & marriage are to be organised on appointment basis.
  • Pre-baptism seminar will be held online.
  • For any enquiries on sacraments, kindly contact the parish office.

GENERAL RULES:

  • THE USE OF A FACE MASK IS MANDATORY AT ALL TIMES.
  • NO EATING OR DRINKING WILL BE ALLOWED.
  • THE USE OF LAVATORIES & TOILETS IS PROHIBITED.
  • HAND SANITIZERS & TISSUES WILL BE PROVIDED.
  • NO SOCIALISING OR GATHERING WILL BE ALLOWED BEFORE OR AFTER SERVICES/MASSES.
  • PEOPLE ARE REQUESTED TO LEAVE THE CHURCH COMPOUND IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE MASS OR PRAYER VISIT.
  • ALL SAFETY REGULATIONS ISSUED BY THE GOVERNMENT OF THE KINGDOM OF BAHRAIN, ARE TO BE FOLLOWED AT ALL TIMES.
